I hate this money hungry company if I knew it was the only company I could get here, I wouldn't have moved in the area. OTR driver, not home much. Bill still over 500.00. Total ripoff.

I have never dealt with a company so asinine. I just moved into my house, and they held me hostage to either pay a $1000 prepayment OR get my electricity cut off on my wife and 3 little boys. Their reasoning, my credit score was 5% lower

I agree with all the negative comments left about this company. They just shut off our electric the other night saying that we had a bill that went unpaid back in July. Here it is Dec and we are just now hearing about it not to mention

This electric company really sucks. I have been with them for 12 years with my hands tied because there is nobody else. I just received information today that they are charging the current resident for a unpaid bill if that person moves in with you. Even though you have no unpaid balance. You are then responsible for their unpaid bill. Which ends up on your statement. If you don??t pay it the shut off your service. This can??t be legal. I know a real good lawyer and will get to the bottom of this. If you have had these same issues please respond.

High bills when I am not even home and AC turned off (travel a lot for work). I live in an energy certified green home and my bills are higher than my old and larger home with a 10 year old AC unit with a different electric company. Bill??s always arrive late if at all and they round up bills to charge more. A monopoly that acts like one. I wish I had done more research before purchasing a new home, look for an ONCOR area and choose your provider. Poor infrastructure as well, my power went out at least once a week for the first 4 months I lived in my new home. They are also rude on the phone with billing issues. Horrific in all ways.

FEC has always responded promptly to our service requests, even sending a tech out one cold Thanksgiving day to restore service after the line from the pole to our house went bad. As a co-op, FEC shops for energy prices to pass on to its customers and we feel like most months we get a pretty good deal. Our experience to date has been quite satisfactory.

Pros: Great Service, Friendly Customer Service

Cons: Like All Utilities Have Had To Raise Rates

Its funny how the past month we havent turned the air on at all, weve kept the windows open and yet our electric bill went up. We live in a 3 bedroom moduler home and our bill rounds out to 300 a month!!! Rediculous....

Pros: they are somewhat< SOMEWHAT nice on the phone!

Cons: Rip people off because they can. There is no other choices!

There is no way in heck I use the amount of electricity they charge me for. I have 40 years experience in electronics and appliance repair. They must have technology to ramp up usage in hight usage times. By that I mean they can adjust how your meter measures KW hours so it reads much more than you used. Ain't technology great ....... For the money mongers.

Cons: a monopoly can charge what it wants and we can't do anything about it
