.

I stayed at this location first in 1986, and have stayed at this Motel 6 four times since. Latest stay was in July 2008.\r\nThe staff were all quite helpful. Anthony was the most helpful clerk we encountered to answer our many questions, but all were great.\r\nThe rooms had smaller TVs (19 inch?), but cable, with remote control, so they were certainly adequate for the size of the rooms. The shower is a corner unit with full curtain and variable pressure and temperature.\r\nSome rooms had fridge and microwave oven. We had room 169 the first night, but they provided us with room 103 for the rest of the week, since 169 did not have the fridge and microwave oven.\r\nMy only complaint for our whole stay would be that 103 is across the hall from the guest laundry (includes vending machines and free ice for the rooms). Late on our first night in 103, two or three ladies propped the laundry door open (it gets hot in there) and carried on a conversation, which was loud so they could understand each other over the noise of the machines. Their noise kept us awake for a time. We were about to call the front desk about it when they finally closed the laundry door and left.\r\nFrom the motel, it's just through two traffic lights to get on the northbound ramp to drive 12 miles to Seattle or just a right turn in front to go south toward Tacoma and connect to go out to the Olympic Peninsula.\r\nMost mornings, we drove about a mile back toward the airport to have breakfast at Denny's. But the front desk had coffee and tea in the morning, too.\r\nA concrete staircase leads up the back of the property and across a vacant lot to a Union 76 gas and convenience store, which has items for about half the price in the vending machines in the laundry room, along with fountain drinks and larger selection.\r\nIf you have any doubts about other places, stay here! Great location, great price, clean, helpful staff. What more does one need? They'll leave the light on for you, but take your own shampoo.
