Pointe Pest Control

This place is a ripoff. Stay away. There are better services and their contract is always mis representative. Their owners are Jared Borg and Kyle Woodbury. I am glad to see further legal action is being taken against them. I will join the class action suit as well. Consumers can put a stop to companies like this.

i had the most unfortunate experience of hiring these people. don't sign a contract or give thema credit card. the rep tells you that you can cancel at any time but its a lie. also they go door to door without the license to do that. a class action is being formed and anyone with similar experiences should join in that to teach this firm a lesson. watch for details on the internet. should be out there by march. just google their name. and write the attorney general lisa madigan. i was told that office has received many complaints and might be taking action soon. lets put a stop to this firm.

Be sure to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office, the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Protection Agency. The BBB revoked Pointe Pest Control's accreditation due to the high number of complaints (Google it - this website is not allowing me to paste in the link) These people shamelessly lie and defraud consumers. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER! If you are defrauded you HAVE to file complaints. Just Google Lisa Madigan's Attorney Generals office, the BBB or the Consumer Protection agency. Fight back!!! These people are sick con artists!!!

Yes, I signed the contract, but it was downhill from there. Very poor service - then they bill for full contract after being told not to come back. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER! Bad company. They wouldn't even negotiate.

This company is billing me for services they DID NOT PROVIDE! They are liars. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!!!!! This is a major fraud alert!

I want to start off by saying I hate bugs. Absolutely one of my greatest personal fears. I had a severe Spider problem in my basement, and they were starting to show up all over my house. Pointe Pest Control did a very thorough job, were very professional, and were very friendly. After their initial visit, my spider problem vanished! Thanks Pointe Pest Control! I will absolutely use your services again in the future if the need should arise.

Nothing but a scam! Stay away! Don't sign the contract! They keep charging you even after the service has been canceled.

Pointe pest goes around signing up people and tells you that if you sign a one year contract they will discount your service. They never mention the fine print that you have signed up for auto renew service. They then just show up at your house and bill you, once the prepay is up. Even tried getting out of it initially and they still came after the year. Stay away--way too deceptive!!!!

I am extremely happy to have Pointe Pest Control in the Glenview neighborhood. I have every confidence that my pest problem has been solved because of the faith and trust that was created with me by the helpful, knowledgeable, courteous staff. I know I will sleeping well knowing the the peace of mind that I feel now that I have a pest service that will attend to my needs.

I paid up front for a year to get a discount. In their defense there is SMALL print on the contract that says they will auto renew unless you cancel which ticks me off had I read it I would not have done BUT non- the less I would have accepted and been done but it gets worse. The guy came and I said I thought my year was up and I was moving in a week..........He said he i had to cancel through the office, he couldn't cancel it, so while he was here I called the office........and you have to cancel IN WRITING......so as I was on the phone trying to cancel, he does his thing on the outside of my house. I get a late bill 2 months later........they would not let me cancel so I have now paid 92 dollars for a house I don't own. I tried to call and talk through it but they just wanted their money. Lesson learned

If you need a company for pest control I recommend Pointe Pest Control. I am very protective of my home and letting strangers inside. My technician was extremely polite, clean, in uniform and very knowledeable. I have tried other companies and didn't get the same level of customer service. The office staff was prompt in returning my call and the price was very competitive.
