There are so many wonderful things I can say about The Loft Book Store Cafe... There staff is polite, the exterior and interior of the store are truly exquisite, they have an amazing book club called 'Secret science of knowledge' (where they teach people about everything from financial stability to the parenting), and the after school program for kids in the community called The 'Express Yourself program. it is truly a place to remember..

I LOVE this location. First off I would like to state that I own a laptop, of which I use heavily. However, my laptop has begun malfunctioning. Being a small business owner can become overwhelming when these things happen. I was highly distraught and irritated and in need of full computer usage! I immediately began to search the internet, at my local library, for a location of which I could use both the internet and computer to meet with a fellow producer in GA. LUCKILY I FOUND THEM and of ALL PLACES IT WAS IN BROOKLYN! Thank GOD that means I didn't have to commute all the way to Manhattan... Not only that but I would not have to cancel my business meetings while my computer was in the shop!

I support Black Businesses. The Loft Book Store Cafe is a Black-Owned independent book store, a welcome addition and resource to the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.

You will be pleasantly surprised by The Loft Book Store Cafe located at 350 Tompkins Ave. The Loft Book Store Cafe owners and staff are friendly, informative, helpful but not intrusive.

Sure you could probably locate and buy the book you're looking for online, BUT if you want to experience the m-a-g-i-c of touching and leafing through books to see words in print, of chatting with the book store owners, exchanging ideas, culture and having engaging, stimulating and challenging social conversations The Loft Book Store Cafe is worth the visit.

The owners, Tony and Claudine Bonner, are proud to host self publish local or out of town authors book signings and workshops.

The Loft Book Store Cafe has a membership, a book club to engage electronic readers and offers poetry and spoken word events.

One of my favorite things about The Loft Book Store Cafe is there outdoor patio space. The Loft Book Store is the hotspot for entrepreneurs and business professionals for internet/wifi access and meetings.
