At 43 years old, the need to have lumbar artificial disk replacement surgery is not a decision to be taken lightly. After FOUR different opinions and 3+ months of research, I decided that Dr. Cubbage was the surgeon for me. A huge part of that decision was thanks to his assistant Karen, who was there for me via email and phone to answer every question I had. Even when I initially decided NOT to have the surgery, I continued to discuss my questions and concerns with Karen. Even though she didn't think I was going to do the surgery, she continued to be available to me to answer questions and talk about my concerns. She called me from home when her day was too busy to get back to me and she stopped by to see me at the hospital the morning of the surgery. I felt like I had gained a new family member - not just a healthcare provider. What an amazing woman! Aside from that, Dr. Cubbage was kind and patient and stopped by the hospital around 10pm the night of the surgery to see how I was doing - AFTER he had completed at least 3 surgeries that day. Each morning, Dr. Cubbage's PA would stop by and check on me and answer any questions I had. Overall, the entire team is amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to ANYONE. THANK YOU Karen - you will never know how much you helped me! Dr. Cubbage - you are amazing and I am so appreciative of you giving my life back!

Poor service. Dr. Bacon her PA to see me...even though I was first or second appointment of the day at the Willowbrook office. This was my first visit. Perhaps even more telling of their lack of concern for patient service. Very political news station on the television in the waiting room. Asked the receptionist if she could change the station. She was very nice, but said she get's that request ALL THE TIME, but is not allowed to change it. Hard to imagine a service oriented that knowingly offends half or more of it's patients with it's selection of networks...and refuses to change. I will seek medical care elsewhere.
