.

I am a recently turned 18 individual who had the opportunity to attend LifeLine faculties for a three month period.
that place... is not good at all.. i went in wanting to be sober, seeking some more support, completely confident, completely at ease and on a happiness level that can only be achieved when sober.
i had not used in 2 months prior to being accepted into the program.
the program is hell for about 3-4 months and is essentially a prison. there is a strict silence policy, you are not allowed to even speak nearly 20 hours of the day. you are not allowed to stand up without permission and for awhile participants are forced to walk around shoeless especially when walking between buildings outside in the snow!
I left that place having acquired a new set of emotional problems. nearly done with the program i asked fellow patients how i have changed, their reply's? "its like lifeline has sucked the fun right out of you"
i became anti social, i lost by ability to think creatively, a total personality loss, i became depressed months even after leaving the program.

LifeLine destroys peoples souls and forces you to become a narrow minded robot type slave. no one there is happy.. its all a lie because if you dont lie you WILL stay there for years living in the same rooms over and over. looking at the same blank walls listening to the same staff yelling at you for not being good enough.
they rarely let you outside and have a poor nutritional diet (rarely any fresh vegetables) you spend most of the time sitting down and nearly everyone there has back problems because of the way that they make you sit up with your hands on your knee's arms straight and back straight.
Life Line is NOT a good place to be, i recommend Anasazi wilderness therapy program < that place has its stuff together.
