On a positive note the location is very convenient and the pricing was fair.\n\nFor the rest of it...\nWe were only in our storage unit for about 8 months. \nWithin the first couple of months I went to check on the unit. When I first walked in I noticed that it was pretty humid, which seemed odd because it was supposed to be climate controlled. The first thing I picked up was one of our throw pillows. I gave it a squeeze and was instantly covered in mold. I also pulled out several of my guns and found that they had been severely rusted. I informed management of the situation and their solution was to drop the temp by 2 degrees. After which they covered the temperature gauge so that you couldn't see what the actual temp was. The next time we went to the storage unit was to get our child's car seat. We found that it had also been molded. I talked to the manager again about it and asked if they were going to replace the seat because it was going to cost us $100 to replace it. He stated that according to the rental agreement Household storage was not responsible for mold or any other damage to our property. Later in the day he called and informed me that he and the owner thought that the best solution to the problem was that they would prorate a refund through the end of the month and we could move out and find another place to store our stuff...\nIn summation: If you want to keep your stuff nice...I would consider finding a different storage facility.
