First, I would like to say that the instructors were good. Jennifer was my favorite. She gave good feedback and tips on working with my daughter at home. That said, the customer service from the general manager/franchisee was severely lacking. When given feedback that was less than satisfactory, she would respond in a condescending, patronizing tone. She does not seem to value current clients as much as she values getting new clients. She was willing to lose over $900/year over a $90 Groupon deal that excluded current clients in favor of new clients. Further, when discussing this issue and expressing my frustration and concerns, she actually looked at me and said, "Gah! Will you just stop talking!" She then turned to an employee and said, "Welcome to training. I hate being yelled at." Only I was not yelling. Later, she told me that I was "upsetting the children," but I didn't say anything upsetting. I was mad, sure, but I didn't yell or anything and I never noticed children paying attention. I called corporate to express my concerns and was told that a refund would be processed so that I could stop lessons for my children immediately. I was also told that a complaint about ME had been filed - that I used foul language. That was certainly untrue. I was very cautious not to use foul language because I didn't want to devalue my concerns and there were children near.
