Walking into the quaint garage space known as m?o?m, is sweetly similar to discovering grandma??s sewing room as a child, and envisioning all the beautiful things she must create with her hands and the sea of beautiful fabric laying all around. Though m?o?m is no doubt a much tidier version of grandma??s nook, the feeling and energy, unsurpassed by the explosive amount of stunning designs, is simply put, superbly amazing.

When Bethany Jensen, and her Mom Tere, opened the doors to m?o?m in October 2008, their vision of creating a living, working studio quickly came to fruition. And without hesitation they dove into the work they love, allowing shoppers to stop by and watch them create exquisite fabric bead necklaces from scraps left over from the adorable little girls?? dresses made from 100% vintage fabrics, made right there, just feet away from their customers. Bethany was quick to point out ??We waste nothing. Our primary business is to make girls clothing for ages 2 to 10, but from that comes an enormous amount of other incredibly fun items we sell, made exclusively from the scraps.? Baskets overflow with crocheted flowers, sweet gingham kerchiefs, delicate flowered headbands, and ultra hip little men??s neckties. Though tucked away into a small space, shoppers will no doubt melt into the tapestry that is m?o?m and all of its handmade treasures strewn perfectly about.

m?o?m is open Monday through Saturday 10 to 6ish, and Sunday 11 to 4ish. Be sure not to miss the Annual Pie Day every March, when everyone is asked to bring and share a pie, keeping in style with m?o?m??s motto, ??homemade is best?.
