I have adult diabetes. I had a quadruple bypass. I had my carotid artery cleaned out. My doctor recommended exercise. Each day I climb Valley Forge Mountain and take glucotrol to keep my blood sugar low. After 7 chelation treatments, I have more lung capacity. Before I would run out of breath and couldn't get my heart rate above 80. Now I check my heart rate to limit it to 100 and I don't run out of breath.

I came to the Maulfair Medical Center because I was extremely tired and I had a history of candida infection. I was placed back on the Candida program and got some relief with the Vitamin C and nutrients but my condition go worse; loss of memory, numbness, muscle tremors and weakness, saliva in corners of my mouth. I saw a nerve doctor, family doctor and chiropractor with no answers. Diana at the Maulfair Medical Center called to have me come in for blood and hair test for heavy metals. I told her I just had that test and she said, ??Yes, but Dr. Maulfair wants you to have one every couple of years.? My tests came in with mercury and lead in the 95% which means I had mercury and lead toxic metals in my system. I started EDTA Chelation the next day and then for once a week. After less than ten Chelation therapy treatments I am on the road to recovery.

I had taken a few Chelation Treatments before I learned Dr. Maulfair. Dr. Maulfair's program is much more entailed that just IV treatments and since I enrolled in his clinic, I feel like a new person. The main reason I began this program was to stabilize and maintain my health. After forty-five treatments I have attained more that I had hoped for. My blood pressure maintained normal levels from the elevated level when I first started. Also my nails have been growing as never before. My hemorrhoids do not bother me as they once did, and I have the energy of a teenager. I would highly recommend Dr. Maulfair to everyone as he is a very forthright and knowledgeable doctor and also an expert in the field of Chelation as stated in the book, Forty Something Forever by Harold and Arline Brecher. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Maulfair and his staff for their patience and understanding.

When I first came to the Maulfair Medical Center I had migraines, fatigue, muscle aches, joint pain, nausea and bloating. I was so tired during the day that I struggled to stay awake. I was diagnosed with candidiasis, mal-absorption and allergies. Eliminating the foods that I was allergic to gave me immediate relief from most of my symptoms but my allergy to chemicals still gave me migraines. Every time I would smell things like smoke, perfume or gasoline I would get a severe migraine. Today with diet and supplements I am symptom free. I haven't had a migraine in seven months!

I started this journey of wellness one month ago. I've been battling diabetes for over ten years. My blood sugar was out of control. I was taking insulin and oral medications twice a day. My weight was ballooning upward, tiredness, aches and pains were common. One month into the chelation therapy program along with nutritional supplements, proper diet, and exercise I'm seeing dramatic results. My blood sugars were ranging from 200-300. Today they are normal, ranging from 100-150 taking very little insulin and sometimes none. I've lost over 10 pounds and I'm starting to feel much better with all this in the first month. It's exciting to see these results so soon and exciting to know health and wellness are just around the corner.

On New Year's Day, 1997, I experienced severe chest pain (angina) and dizziness while walking up a ramp at a football stadium. Upon sitting down, the pain and dizziness left me. At first I thought it may have only been heartburn. During the next two or three weeks however, I had chest pain several times again. I decided to see my family doctor for a stress test and electrocardiogram. During the stress test, after only five minutes on the treadmill, I had to stop as I was having substantial chest pain. My doctor referred me to a cardiologist who recommended I have an angiogram. As a result of the angiography, it was discovered I had a 95% blockage in one of the arteries leading away from my heart. The cardiologist recommended I stay in the hospital to have a stint inserted into my artery at the point of blockage. After reviewing my condition and the recommended treatment, I felt this surgery was too risky. While discussing my problem with the cardiologist, I wondered about any alternatives to surgery. I inquired about chelation therapy as I had heard of two success stories involving this treatment several years ago. The cardiologist stated that chelation was an unproven method of treatment and he would not recommend it for me. He left my hospital room apparently disturbed telling me to do whatever I wanted. I was apprehensive now wondering whether I should listen to the cardiologist and have the procedure or pursue chelation. I decided to make an informed decision between the two, but to do this I needed detailed information about chelation treatment. Chelation is not available in my area, but I had heard of a clinic near Allentown. By calling the Allentown Chamber of Commerce, I was referred to the Maulfair Medical Center. After an appointment with Dr. Maulfair and attending his seminar, I decided to commit to 50 treatments starting March 1, 1997. Between January 1st and March 1st, my condition had worsened. Every time I was outside in the cold air, even after covering my face with a scarf, I experienced chest pain. Just walking the fifty feet to my mailbox was difficult, and walking indoors for a short duration was painful. After my first 10 to 15 treatments, I was able to walk 8-10 minutes on my treadmill at 3 mph before feeling chest pain. I continued walking 10 more minutes enduring this chest pain, then the pain would subside and I could walk 20 minutes more without pain. After approximately 35 treatments, my chest pain disappeared entirely and I was able to walk 45 minutes at 3 mph. Now after 41 treatments, I am able to walk 30 minutes at 3.5 and then an additional 20-30 minutes at 4 mph, 6 or 7 days a week, PAIN FREE! I also now enjoy a higher level of energy. I feel my cardiologist was wrong when he told me chelation would not help my condition. He indicated my only option was a stint and perhaps bypass surgery if the stint proved unsuccessful. He also prescribed 3 drugs for me to take which I purchased. These three bottles sit in my kitchen cupboard never having been opened. The only medication I take now is 2 children's aspirin a day. I also take a variety of natural supplements recommended by Dr. Maulfair. Although my commitment to chelation was not an easy one, I have made 41 round trip treks to Allentown at 320 miles each day. My benefits have been enormous. I am grateful to Dr. Maulfair and his staff for their outstanding work on my behalf.

I had to come to the Maulfair Medical Center in March 1993. I have been a long-term diabetic and had undergone coronary by-pass surgery and was on dialysis due to end stage renal failure. At 37 I had the health of a man in his late 50's. I was also 20 pounds underweight and depressed. It is now almost two years later and I have had 55 chelation treatments. I have gained back 15 of those 20 pounds. I am working part time (three days a week) and my outlook on life is positive. The care I have received at Maulfair's has stabilized, and in some cases improved dramatically, my condition. I am often told I look as healthy as anyone, especially by those unfamiliar with my background who become aware of my condition. Exercising three times a week by walking 2-3 miles, sleeping well, and feeling optimistic about life has given me something to look forward to. Good health without drugs or surgery!

I have history of diabetes and I am taking medication to control it. I have had bypass surgery but needed to take three medications post surgically that increased the severity of my symptoms and high blood pressure. Forty-five chelation treatments have helped a lot. I have had a diabetic foot ulcer for nine years and it is now gone. I have no more exertional dyspnea. I am very optimistic since I feel much better. After twelve treatments I started to feel pain when stimulated, this is good since I have had numbness and a twenty-year paresthesia. It is now GONE. I still work!!!

. The original medical response was to use ritalin and prozac. She did not tolerate the Ritalin at all- it made her very anxious. The prozac initially helped, but she developed side effects. We then went to see Dr. Maulfair, who prescribed various vitamins and minerals. We had lots of blood work and other tests done and I started her on a gluten free diet. She is in a small classroom for part of the day, and in regular classroom for the rest. She is doing very well with the wholistic approach and I feel much better giving her vitamins and minerals than a prescription drug!

Message from Maulfair Medical Center

This is different, not the same old “disease care”.

I want to introduce our services to you. I am an independent physician providing care to my patients for over 40 years utilizing many medical anti-aging and cutting edge treatment modalities. The only thing missing in our center is a heavy reliance on pharmaceutical drugs as a treatment; we do not need them as we stress health and returning the body to normal function. We treat underlying causes of health problems. We relieve symptoms, but symptoms are the road signs pointing the way to the underlying problem, not the health problem itself.

I understand the problems of aging, I have been taking care of people who want to be vital, full of energy and in charge of their lives as they age and face normal problems of approaching menopause, andropause and chronic illness. You need a medical philosophy and practice you can count on to work and IMPROVE your condition, without merely tolerating illness. We help people remain healthy or recover health for many chronic conditions. Our website tells the story. Dr. Conrad Maulfair, D.O.
