.

On 12/22 I contacted their New Road location of Central Texas Gold Exchange and inquired about Silver Bullion prices. I was told by a man on the phone they would purchase Silver bullion on a Spot Average. I went into their store on 12/23., I arrived and watched two other customers at the counter, one Hispanic gentleman after seeing the small post it note with their "Estimate" for his gold took his chains and ring and left the counter. I presented my silver bars to one of the two men behind the counter. I was watching them count and inspect my silver, but I was distracted by the older lady at the counter next to me, She seemed a bit confused and taken aback by the entire process. The Younger of the two men waited on her and seemed to be a bit animated with his gestures toward this little black woman, it was odd, but it's the season for frayed nerves. After about 10 minutes the the other man wrote a few notes on a Post-It note that they use for estimates, and shoved it down on the counter in front of me. These Jokers actually offered ME $14.22 per OUNCE for Silver BULLION BARS !! ON 12/23 MARKET PRICES FOR SILVER WAS $29.34 PER ounce! This business was trying to RIP-ME OFF for OVER $15 PER OUNCE! I asked for My silver back and the other Gentleman who was so animated asked me "to hold on partner" as the other man brought PART of MY Silver Bars Back to the counter. I began counting my BARS to make SURE I got them all back. By the Time the animated fellow had finished with the confused little black lady and moved down the counter to me, he asked what I wanted for my silver. I told him first he could turn around and get those last bars of silver that belonged to me from the desk and put them on the counter in front of me so I could count all my bars and make sure they were not trying to pull a fast one. ( FIRST RULE .....NEVER LET THEM TAKE YOUR GOLD OR SILVER OUT OF YOUR SIGHT) When the animated fellow turned to his partner he shrugged and pointed to the rest of my Silver Bars stacked on the Desk BEHIND their counter. After he returned them and I counted them to ensure I got every single one BACK on the counter in front of me. I told him I wanted $1700 for the Bar's, MARKET PRICE on 12/23 placed their value at $1,877.76. I understand that business need to make a profit , and I don't have a problem with a business making 2 or 3 dollars and ounce on my Silver Bars. But when the animated fellow explained that HE HAD TO MAKE MONEY and could not offer any BETTER than $14.22 per ounce ( THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER a $1,000 PROFIT FOR HIM). I collected my bars placed them in my bag and went to the door and pressed the Green button to Escape the on-going robbery inside that building!

In closing the most telling aspect of my visit to Central Texas Gold Exchange was the Honey Badger poster on their wall, you see It said "HONEY BADGER Don't Care!" And no one at Central Texas Gold Exchange cares who they rip-off either...Just like the Honey Badger!!
