The person posting the puppy mill accusation doesn't sound like a person that has personal experience with 19breeders. If you look at the other thread for this Pet co-op you will see reviews of people that actually have experience.

Though I think they posted their "review" with good intent it isn't fair to this business. Visit for yourself or at least read the other reviews. I visited them and my experience and opinion greatly differs from what they have accused.

Though it is true there are puppy mills, and buyer should beware when looking to adopt a puppy 19breeders isn't one of them.

I did research and one of the many reasons I selected them was because I could actually walk in their door and physically see the puppies, interact and meet the people eyeball to eyeball. This is what I recommend. I used to breed dobermans with my now ex-boyfriend and this is literally 19 breeders that had worked/networked together and decided due to increasing prices to market collectively, share costs collectively and have a store collectively to remove the anytime day or night mentality to pet cute puppies like a petting zoo.

As a former breeder, I placed my deposit on one of their havatese girls. She is a doll and I can not wait to bring her home. Her name is "Lucy". See the other 19breeders reviews to see mine. I posted one for my first visit experience and I will post at least two more. One after I pick her up and another a couple months later so you can read about my full experience from start to finish.

Why do I not have her yet? Because they said she is not yet ready to go home and she isn't. (she is 8 wks the age when most breeders are pushing them out the door) but because she wasn't released until 8 weeks to their store they want to have a couple weeks to socialize her some more. This is wonderful, smart and caring!!!! Puppies mature at different rates.

Puppy mills don't hang on to puppies in the best interest of the puppy's social or health or making the puppy their first concern.. it's money that is first and foremost. If 19breeders was a puppymill they wouldv'e let her go home same day but they didn't.

If you have ever adopted a puppy before it is an aweful thing to go from fun playful puppy around Mom and siblings to shy hiding puppy at your house for a few days.

If you have any questions feel free to ask me. In the meantime, and if you are in Georgia go visit them and see for yourself. There is only so much a review or reviews can tell you and they will never be able to replace your actual being there which is why you should always adopt locally.

Places like this get their puppies from non reputable breeders like the ones found in these articles.

There are many shelters in the area with pure bred dogs and puppies for a fraction of the cost these people charge for in-bred dogs. Please visit your local shelters or contact adoption agencies in the area before visiting and giving these guys any of your money.
