I used to see myself as a healer, problem-solver, or fixer. Over the years, however, I have come to realize that healing YOU is something that only YOUR mind and body can do. All that I am is a facilitator for this healing. The main way that I assist you in your healing process is by coaxing your mind and body to "Let Go" of your tension, restrictions, and/or pain. I've also learned that the two most powerful tools at our disposal in any therapy session, are your mind and your breath, so while I use my hands to stretch and massage your muscles, I'll also coach you in a tranquil voice to take long deep breaths, and use the incredible power of your mind to relax your body. In this way, the session is like a guided meditation in which you become a more active participant in your own therapy. My philosophy of wellness also extends beyond the body to encompass the mind and spirit as well. This is why we offer Chi gong classes , to help you re-establish your mind-body connection, quiet your mind and find your inner peace.

I may use any different massage and bodywork techniques in any therapy session, including: Deep Tissue, Myofacial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, Reflexology, Swedish Massage and NeuroMuscular Realignment, depending on what your body needs and what you are comfortable with. While I am practiced with all of these, my specialties are Deep Tissue Massage and Neuromuscular Realignment. I am much more focused on serious therapeutic healing work, rather than "lotion-spreading". Prices My rates are the same regardless of the type of therapy employed, and regardless of location.
