I had allergies so severe I didn't think I could be helped. I read Dr. Alan Khadavi was one of the best in Los Angeles and decided to schedule an appointment. One year later I am virtually allergy free. I still go in for allergy shots every two weeks, but the suffering has almost entirely gone away.

Dr. Alan Khadavi takes the time with me when I visit periodically for allergy flare ups. He's a good listener and usually makes a fast and correct diagnosis. He wrote a prescription for me for Singulair. This asthma medication has helped immensely. There are no side effects, unlike some other asthma and allergy medications. It has prevented any further wheezing episodes, that I was getting.

I came to see Dr. Khadavi with seasonal allergies and sinus problems - with the unseasonable weather we've been having, it's been wreaking havoc on my sinuses. I don't usually have a flare up this early in the season, but I'm glad he could fit me in to hid schedule - the medicine he put me on has really been helping me out, I am finally free of the congestion I've been dealing with for the past few weeks.

Message from Alan Khadavi, MD, APC

All patients are encouraged to bring medical records of any previous allergy treatment, including prior allergy testing results, blood work, written reports of X-Rays, CT scans, and MRI's as well as pulmonary function tests, and current or prior allergy medications or prescriptions. We kindly ask that you do not take any medications that contain antihistamines or have antihistaminergic properties for at least 72 hours prior to your visit. These medications can interfere with testing of allergies and render the skin test less reliable. If your symptoms are intolerable without these medications, please continue to take all your medications! The doctor will still examine you find an alternative method to pursue allergy testing.
