ADT installed a system in my new residence, but never stopped billing me for my cancelled service. I discovered the double billing in March 2010 and contacted ADT corporate customer service about it. I've contacted them three times since. Each time the response is "Give it a little more time". I get the impression the customer service representatives are reading from a script. ADT owes me $1,534. It's been almost two months. If my wait reaches two months, ADT has lost a customer.

ADT??s free home security review was really valuable for showing us possible points of entry and things that we could make safer around the house and customer service has been helpful. I definitely recommend ADT to anyone considering home security ?? and don??t wait for a crime to happen first like we did!

f you opt for the police responce (monitored system) then you may be eligable for a discount from your insursnce company when the monitoring is set up an admin fee is payable to the local police force of 45. If a maintence contract is taken out when the alarm is fitten then you will get one routine maintence visit a year if the alarm is audible only (bells only) and two routine maintence visits a year if the system is monitored. although on some of the newer systems the one of the routine maintence's on the moinitored system is done remotely by a computer. To sum up if your looking for an excellent alarm fitted by well qualified engineers then look no further than ADT.

I bought the system from and ADT salesman about 3 years ago for a second business location. I also obtained new equipment from ADT. My business is not doing good at the moment and I wanted to cut my ADT service but to my surprise I found out that my original contract had automatically been renewed and that If I wanted to cancel I would need to pay the remaining 75% of the contract. I know I should have read the contract but the letters are so small that I trusted the salesman at the time. Be careful with this company and READ THE CONTRACT before you sign anything, because canceling a contract with them is a big pain.

My ADT system scared away a recent home invader. I am very glad I did not wait too long to get a security system. People seem to think they dont need one, well I think its better to be protected then to try and clean up your life after a home invasion.

Small domestic pets like dogs and cats usually trigger alarms, but ADT's high-grade sensor will not detect them. Much reliable system.
