IGS GRANITE demands payment upfront prior to even beginning to do the template.
Wow!!! if you want a great price on Granite and don't mind having Everyone in the company lie to you about your project, go with IGS.
Charlie Jackson and his associate Jeisson, told me when we were in the showroom, that we would be able to see the "Nesting" which is how your granite is layed out on the Slab . kind of important when spending Thousands of dollars. .They wouldn't even let me see the nesting once they got my payment. They only let me see the nesting after I asked for it repeatedly. Charley even told me that I wouldnt be able to see it because my granite was black so the pieces wouldnt show up. They did this because they did not want me to see that there were any leftover pieces.
They dodged phone calls, and said they didn't understand why I was insisting on being OVER INVOLVED in my Countertops!!..
I was told in the beginning that when I purchased the Exotic Volga Blue granite, that would get all remnants. We showed up the day before our SECOND installation date since they didnt show up the first time, they STILL were not finished with our countertops. I asked them to polish the seam ends since they looked ragged.
They refused to polish the seam ends prior to installation !!!
Finally,
The granite countertop was installed Last Saturday 7/20 after they DIDNT show up for the installation on Monday 7/15.
I asked for my sink cut out and was told it was destroyed in the fabrication process. My husband saw it and asked, "isn't that ours??? They were caught in another lie, so they had to give us that one piece, but refused to give us anything else. They said there weren't any .
Charlie Jackson the Sales person was very rude and nasty to me on the phone and told me that was the most difficult client he's worked with. I was only demanding what he told me would receive. Once they got my money they dodged phone calls. They refused to put anything in writing. I e-mailed them to let them know I was unhappy and they will not respond.
The seam on my countertop is almost 1/4' wide. It is so ugly that I have to put a pot rack over it so I dont have to look at it.
The measurements were short so they don't look right either. The counter doesnt even come to the end of the cupboard in one place. The granite isn't polished well. There are scratches everywhere!
I downloaded a video on how to polish granite, so, I will probably work on that myself at a later date. my husband wanted me to call them and have them re do the job, but I told him Hell No!!!, I have washed my last dish in the bathroom sink, I will live with it!!!
