The first time I went was the consultation where Mason did nothing but ask me if I wanted a solid-brow or a hair simulated eyebrow. I told him about my high blood pressure condition and he said it would be fine so we went ahead and set up a date and time.
That date finally came. He had me read and fill-out some documents where he saw I wrote I had high blood pressure. He said that he can t go ahead and do my tattoo without a doctors note which he did not say the first time.
My third time there with the doctors note at hand I went in at 10AM which is when my appointment was and stood outside waiting for him to open up. At 10:15AM I decided to call him because he was taking long having me just stand there and he finally arrived at 10:25AM to open the door! 25 minutes late! He told me I had to reread and resign all the paper documents while he set-up his equipment. It took him an hour and a half to set up! He wanted me to draw my own eyebrows on with a makeup pencil so that he would just have to follow and outline my exampled eyebrows but since the first visit I told him I could not because of my shaky hands. Which is the reason I decided to tattoo them. He took 1 hour drawing them on with the makeup pencil to have them looking like, sisters, not twins which I knew from the beginning but the shape was finally drawn perfect. While he was working he kept slurring cuss words with his coworkers which to me was not acceptable especially for having a 57 year old client being tattooed AT THE MOMENT! So after having him go back and filling in spots seeking the perfected look we finally finished. They looked even, perfect and completely sisterly.
Later that night, around 10PM I washed my newly tattooed eyebrows for the first time as recommended and washed off the Vaseline and blood that had accumulated. Happy because the swelling went down I started to look at what still has to be healed but my new eyebrows and I noticed that they are different!!! They did not look that way earlier at the shop and I am not sure why they look this way but they looked good! Since the shop doesn t close till 12PM I called to see if Mason was there before more time went by. I told him what was going on and he basically told me that if I wanted them evened out or fixed he would charge me $300 which was 50% off from his regular price of $600 because it is another appointment! I told him that it was ridiculous because one of the documents I signed (and currently have) stated, Colour refresher visits should be scheduled between 30-45 days post procedure. All PMU procedures are a two-step process. Results cannot be determined until the colour refresher is completed. PMU stands for Permanent MakeUp and please note how color is misspelled which all his documents had typos. The reason I speak about his misspelling is because he told me that there is nothing he can do because I signed off on it and that the documents were legal and he had an attorney work on them (I don t think an attorney would make mistakes like that). I was hoping he would tell me that on my colour refresher visit I could have that adjusted but he told me that all he could do to help me was to have me come in and fix them for an additional $300 because it is another appointment/sitting.
Now I have uneven eyebrows; my right eyebrow s arch is higher than the other and I will have to go else where to get this fixed! I do not plan on getting this fixed with him because 1- he showed very poor interest to me as a customer and 2- I wanted a deal, not have to spend an additional $300 when it states I can have it refreshen which is what I signed with him and my Groupon deal states, The artists guarantee their work and offer complimentary touchups for Blue Tattoo Cafe s designs that have faded.
I think it??s obvious that I do not recommend going there for permanent makeup or any tattoo because of the poor customer service performed by the shop??s manager.
