this is one of the worst cafe chains, ive ever been too. It took a while to get a table 7 for our waitress to take our order, she was in too much of a rush to ask us if we would like a drink to start off with. This was some Sunday morning couldn't even get the check right away after eating here with my family & noticed how expensive they are with there stuff sandwich a little over $12.00 how ridiculous no flavor or hardly anything in it. The service is way too slow they half to pick up the pace if they want to stay in business will go to a mom & pop diner next time.

This is a joke of a cafe came to see what they had tried a salmon salad that was the worst ive had in my life. I also had the coffee in a pot which was really cold & difficult to drink had to change it it took a while for the server to bring it to me she had an attitude on top of it. I think quotidien is too expensive for the portions & quality of things they serve wont be back here as for getting an ice coffee to go tried that after paying my bill the line was too long barristers were not moving fast enough.

In my eyes there is nothing worse then a classic rip off. I had an oatmeal with a pot of coffee adding up to $20.00. The service & getting the check took quite a while was there on a Sunday morning they shoudn't be understaffed like that. I couldn't get over for a while commuting from where I live next to the aquarium to check out this dump of a cafe.

The interior of this store is pretty nice but turned me off when I paid close to $25.00 for a salad and a coffee that is too much.

I had an omelet for breakfast with a pot of coffee last Sat morning it was OK but not worth the $ I paid for. I did not feel like I was in a cafe felt like I was in a high end res. There cafe concept is a little misleading prices are expensive and the service can be a little slow, on my second visit wanted to get a tea to go it took twenty min with only 4 people in front of me small tea for 5 bucks get real Quotidien will not be open for too long.

Quotidien has turned out to be a disappointment for me and my wife. I find it amazing how people rush over to try a chain store when it first opens thinking it will be the best food and drink. They don't want to realize that it has vast prices for small portions of bland food. The drinks are all rip off prices too. My wife and I have spent $10.00 for two cappuccinos with hardly anything in them. The server that served us outside that weekend had no knowledge of the menu or what we should eat or drink. We both had an omelet that tasted disgusting. I was not pleased with this place will not return that is for sure.

It has been a while since I walked through Montague st so I decided to see what is going on. I noticed this new cafe decided to check them out for breakfast. I had the latte with the organic granola & yogurt parfait, also had the pot of coffee some breakfast for a small portion the bill came out to $20.00 dollars too much for breakfast plus the place gets noisy sometimes not worth a second visit.

Where do they get this ridiculous idea of charging $8.00 for oatmeal that is a small portion with disorganized service. The store is nicely built but there are alot of things that are still wrong, for instance there were four empty tables wanted to sit down with a friend of mine waitress stops us and says servers half to seat you even though the sign says someone will seat you shortly thing that doesn't make sense to me is the fact that when a customer walks into a restaurant and sees a few empty tables you want to sit down right away not wait to be seated by a server we lost our seats that way. The salad was decent but it was over priced and did not taste awesome. I personally don't think this place will be open for too long give it 6 months tops and bye bye.

I feel this is just another attempt to put another high end cafe bakery on Montague st. I tried a few drinks with my waffle, waffle was good but it was very expensive to have a waffle and a Brussels tea. It also took a while to get my order as well.

My friend Chris and I have visited the Montague st location which is my understanding if iam right there first Brooklyn store. The place is nicely built and has lots of space for seating but the thing that disappoints me to a vast degree is the prices for drinks and food. The costs are a joke and a travesty which is a shame because they have a few nice ideas in terms of serving but $3.80 for a lemonade, $2.80 for an espresso, 2.40 for a coffee how expensive can you get

                      Message from Le Pain Quotidien

We’re a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means “the daily bread” in French, and like our name suggests, we’re bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts.

At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That’s why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you’ll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.
