.

So we are told that a repair man will be to our house between 11am and 3pm on May 31st. So we rearrange ALL of our plans and schedules with FOUR children of all ages to make sure someone is here. Then we get the calls that he is running late - really? With a FOUR HOUR WINDOW you can't make it here on time? So he finally shows up after 4:00pm - his name is not known because he won't give it and the signature is a scribble from "American Home Appliance Service". He assumes it is just my mother who is in her 70's that is home so he is very rude and surely with her. He demands to know HOW she knows about the recall of our dishwasher that is several years old?! What does this have to do with anything? He then demands to know "what the problem is" (with the part he needs to replace for the recall is in his hand). He is very angry, very rude and very late. He then demands that the circuit breaker is turned off to service the dishwasher (without even looking at it), not realizing my husband is in the backyard and is very knowledgeable about just about everything. So my husband comes in from what he is doing and asks him why he needs the circuit breaker turned off when he can just unplug the dishwasher since it is not hard wired and he hasn't bothered to even look at it (really a no-brainer if you know what you are doing), I guess he was hoping that my mother won't know what he is talking about and he can leave and make her reschedule.

He is even more mad and unplugs the machine, yanks it out and replaces the part he knew all along he needed to. Once he is done, he leaves us with an illegible receipt (trust me we have ALL tried to decipher it - I would be happy to provide you a copy) and puts a metal ball bearing into our garbage disposer. This metal ball is nothing that we have ever seen or ever had in our home but yet it magically appears when this angry man shows up to fix our dishwasher. The ball bearing makes the garbage disposer sound as if it is coming loose from the sink (clever on his part if it really was just an elderly lady and not people that are aware of how to fix things). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
