Horrible experience - DO NOT GET INSURANCE FROM JIM MAYS OFFICE. He will not be there to help when you need him!

I just got off of the phone with Jim Mays actually, he hung up on me.
Now the story:
For 10 years my wife have had insurance with State Farm, for me its been 7 years. We had our rental condo our primary home and 2 cars insured with State Farm and now we are leaving State Farm all together because of Jim Mays Jr.
2 weeks ago we had a wind storm in the prospect heights area and a tree branch fell on my house and went through the roof. When I went to look at my policy to process the claim I noticed that my deductible was $4,220.00 1% of the value of my home. This is was the first time I became aware of the $4,220.00 deductible. Wow thats a huge number. When I called Patti Stitz, the account rep for State Farm, to inquire about why this was so hi, she explained that this was the lowest possible deductible available and this is why this was chosen for me. Keep in mind we NEVER discussed deductibles. When we set up the policy we signed it so that we could proceed with the loan process for the home, I was just purchasing the home at the time, and we were to go back and revisit the actual details after the house was purchased, well we never got there. Partly my fault and partly State Farms fault but such a huge deductible should be discussed at some point with anyone. Especially since our deductible at our condo was $1000.00 and I asked to insure the home similar to how our condo was insured.
Anyway, when I spoke to Jim Mays Jr. about it he was completely unprofessional, unforgiving and arrogant. (See Jims quote above).
Jims argument was that this was an oversight on my part and that I was given choices between different deductibles and I chose the 1%, which is not true. His argument was different than Pattis (the account rep) argument which was that 1% was the minimum available, also not true. He was clear on the fact that he could not do anything about it - Between both of them they will wind up costing me thousands of dollars to repair the roof out of pocket. As a bonus he told me that since I made a claim he now could not change my deductible for 3 years. Can you believe this guy?
Instead of admitting the error and working with me to remedy this - they kept pointing their fingers at me and Jim finally said If you feel I have misrepresented you, I have insurance for that - sue me.
Unbelievable!! How is that for customer service? I will never do business with State Farm again and certainly not with Jim Mays.
