I was recently involved in a hit-and-run car accident that resulted in my vehicle rolling over, then landing on its wheels in the median. The State Trooper called Marv's to have my vehicle towed. \n\nTo be fair, the driver was very friendly, and was incredibly patient with me and my wife considering our state of shock. The ""quality service"" ended there. \n\nWe were soon stuck with a $650 bill which we had to pay in cash in order to get access to our vehicle. The bill included a $200 ""rollover fee"". When we questioned the fee, we received several different reasons for the charge - each of which we successfully disputed. The final reason was that the Colorado State Patrol mandates the fee, and we should ""take it up with them"". \n\nAfter we paid the ransom and got our vehicle back, a quick call to the State Patrol revealed that the receptionist at Marv's lied about this. \n\nAfter filing a complaint with the BBB, Marv's basically gave us the finger. They have our money, and the car is gone, so what do they care? We were told that it was our fault for losing control of our vehicle, and that we endangered the life of their tow truck driver who had to be out there in the dark and the cold to do his job. Wow. \n\nI understand that there are costs involved in recovering a wrecked vehicle, and that Marv's has bills to pay. I would have been fine with their fees if they were justified. But in the end, the ""rollover fee"" was never substantiated. It may as well have been a ""red car"" fee - that would have been just as fair! \n\nThe initial service at Marv's is good. Their drivers are friendly and are capable of successfully towing a wrecked vehicle across town. But don't expect to be treated (or charged) fairly once they've got your vehicle in their lot.

I have had awful expeirences with the other tow companies in Longmont like Blue Sky Towing, and Northside Towing your lucky if you can get one of these companies to answer their phone and show up. A guy named Drennan towed my Saab for me; it was dead and I think the alternator had gone bad. They towed it to a Saab service shop in Boulder for me and I was back on the road the very next day. Marvs Quality Towing is the place to call if you get stuck in and around Boulder, Colorado. Marvs towing is superb and this guy Drennan saved my butt. Thanks Marvs!!! I definitely will keep your towing biz card that you gave me in my car's glove compartment for future use! Drennan even drove me back into town at no additional charge!

If you ever need a tow truck, do not hesitate to give Marvs a call. I did and it was the best choice I've made in a while. I was towed previously by another tower and the service to say the least was less then satisfactory. After Taking my money they damaged my car... No insurance. Just great! Well this time around things were different. I called marvs and the nicest driver (mike mckee) showed up. Expecting more of the same, I cringed when he pulled up. I couldn't have been more wrong. He was so polite, took his time to explain what he was doing and made everything look so easy. On the trip over to mechanic mike was so nice. It was a very pleasant conversation. He put my mind at ease and made me forget all about my other towing experience. I offered him a tip, he said it was his pleasure. I hope i never need towed again but if I do, I will call Marvs and I will request mike. I called later to tell the owner exactly how safe mike made me feel and he told me that mike had been with them for seven years. There is no wonder why they hang on to this young man. Mike your a lifesaver. Marvs keep up the good work. If I can't give you a tip then I will help by spreading the good word of Marvs Quality Towing!!

I was in an accident and the police called Marv's to tow my car away. I had quite a few personal items in my car and wanted to get them out. I was waiting for the insurance to come inspect the car and couldn't move it until they did. \r\n\r\nI was told then that I was not allowed to move any of my personsal possessions from the car until I had paid them for it. I am a single mother in between paychecks , and couldn't pay them right then. They told me that I was, under no circumstances, allowed access to my own belongs or those of my son. \r\n\r\nI found someone to take the car for me and showed up to get my belongings. I still didn't have the money for the car, but I told them I would have it by Friday. She not only told me that I talked to me like I was an idiot for not ""understanding"" that and for being unreasonable. The paycheck I had coming would pay for the car, but only if I got the car out today before I had to pay another 3 days of storage. I lost my temper with her and she threatened to call the police. \r\n\r\nMy ex-husband came in and tried to use his credit card since their web site claimed the they accepted credit cards. They told him they couldn't accept his card since their accountant wasn't in. He asked when the accountant would be and was told that he was in the hospital. My husband then asked for a manager and was told that the manager was also unavailable. \r\n\r\nWe finally had to the bank and take money out of his credit card to pay them. So far as I'm concerned, these guys are bottom-feeding leeches who will milk the unfortunate for every penny they can. I will never use them by choice, and if I'm ever in another accident, I will call my own choice of tow truck before I give these jerks another penny.

I was in a car accident in September and my car had to be towed. It was my first accident, so I didn't really know the details of how car towing and impounding worked, but I ended up realizing I had to go get my car about a week later than the accident. I called to make sure my car was there. When I called, the receptionist or whoever it was picked up and I asked for them to look for my vehicle. I explained the color the year and the make of the car. She insisted it wasn't there and was I sure that I had gotten my car towed. I WAS sure because that's what the cops had told me. My dad called later that day, probably two hours later. She immediately found it for him and told him where they were located. It was BS that she ""couldn't"" find it for me. Perhaps because I'm just a teenager, but I would only be disappointed again if I used their service.\n\nAlso, I asked if the car could be impounded there unknowingly and she answered no and that nothing more could be done by them. When we went out to look at the car in the lot, the guy who took us out explained that we could sign the car over to them and it would be taken off of our hands. \n\nShe obviously doesn't know what she's doing. Well, she's probably trying to rip us off at all costs. Almost cost me $600 more dollars.

I was stranded on 75th St with a flat tire. No way a girl like me can change a tire. I called Marv's and they were there in 30 minutes, cheerfully changed my flat and away I went.

We have had many recent unfortunate needs that required Marv's towing (accidents and broken down). The good thing is that we could depend on Marv's to take care of us. Even in the worst of weather / towing situations, the drivers were good spirited and very helpful. The office staff were responsive.\r\n\r\nWe would recommend Marv's for any towing situation. We used them through the AAA call in number as well as called direct.

I was in Boulder County vicinity between Boulder and Nederland on Magnolia Drive...tight hairpins and steep. I got stranded about 4 miles up from the turnoff from the Canyon where the pavement turns to dirt. I had finished a 2 hr run and had gotten in my car and my key dropped thru the middle console and thru a conduit underneath all the plastic molding and I was stuck with no spare and no way to start the car. I had to use 911 because normal cell reception was poor...the Boulder Cty Sheriff department dispatcher was great and sent Marv's Towing....DESPITE having a few jobs backed up and even with an address communication problem somewhere between AAA and the towing company, the driver made it clear up there INSIDE of an hr after I made the call....I had EXPECTED to sit there for maybe four hrs.\r\n\r\nThe driver towed me to Fort Collins and was upbeat the whole way and very interesting. And of course, he also did his job very well, including negotiating hairpin turns and getting my car onto his truck quickly and safely. I wish I could have gotten the name of the actual driver, but I failed to. It was all a great relief in the end, and I would highly recommend this service.\r\n\r\nIt did help, of course, that I belonged to AAA, so that I paid nothing out of pocket...I have no idea what all that would have cost me otherwise.

Pros: Fast response, driver seemed to like working for Marv's and his job, truck was high tech, driver was interesting while driving me all the way to Fort Collins, customer oriented

Cons: I cannot think of anything....might have saved a tow if company was allowed to cut thru my plastic molding to get key. But NO towing company can do that for liability reasons

I'm 21 years old, a female student at CU and I was by my self broke down on the side of Marshall Rd. No lights, no houses just my cell phone and city search on my phone. I tried 3 companies before Marvs.........\r\nBIG MITAKE! First I tried American Towing they didn't even answer their phone (they advertise 24 hour service) Then i tried Boulder Valley Towing, the lady sounded drunk and didn't even know where I was. Next I tried Hamilton Towing, they had to come all the way from Longmont. Finally I called Marv's. The woman I spoke with was very friendly for 2 AM. and said that they had at least FOUR drivers on every night and that she even had one stationed in Superior. With in 15 MINUTES Brent was at my car. I've never been so happy to see a tow truck in my life. I know Marv's from the CU campus and always thought they were out to get the students...... Now I know why the university uses them and from now on I will as well !!

During the last snow storm my car was not starting in Mcguckins parking lot. I made the mistake of calling another Boulder company. After waiting well over an hour and being told it would be just a little longer I decided to call around and see if anyone could help me sooner. Marv's said they had a driver in the area and said they would see if they could figure out what was wrong with my car. Within 10 minutes Rory from marv's showed up and was the most professional and helpful tow driver I have ever encountered. He informed me that the reason my car wasn't starting was because of the alarm. Just like magic in 5 seconds he got my car started most likely saving me a lot of money not to mention how I was going to get around without my car. I will never make the same mistake of calling anyone but Marv's. Thanks Rory and thanks marv's.

THE WORST!!!!!!! I called for a tow of my vehicle at 7:30 a.m. It's now almost 6 p.m. I asked that the driver call me before heading to my vehicle, as it's a mile from my house, and I wanted to meet him there. I waited until 2:30 p.m. with no phone call from Marv's, then called and found out that the driver got lost, went back, and no one ever called me either before or after. So, I asked again to get the tow a.s.a.p. At 5 p.m., with still no word from Marv's, I called yet again. The excuse this time was that the driver was towing my neighbor's vehicle (my neighbor called in much later than I did). Now, at almost 6 p.m., with the streets frozen and dark, I called again and told them that I needed to watch this tow happen, as they've screwed up everything else today, and I don't want my vehicle mangled. They're supposed to meet me at 8 p.m. at the vehicle. We'll see what happens. This is actually my second experience with Marv's. The first time, a few years ago, they were dispatched through AAA auto club (my member benefit), as they were this time as well. When the driver finally arrived, he told me that I had to pay him an additional $100. I told him this was to be covered by AAA. He said they didn't pay enough. I told him to leave; he then started yelling at me that he hadn't driven up to my house to not make any money. I didn't pay him the $100, and complained to AAA. For some reason, they're still using this company. If you have a choice, I'd advise that you DON'T!!!!

I told him to leave; he then started yelling at me that he hadn't driven up to my house to not make any money. I didn't pay him the $100, and complained to AAA. For some reason, they're still using this company. If you have a choice, I'd advise that you DON'T!!!!

My Durango's ball joints had finally had it. I was stuck, and these guys came out of nowhere within 10 minutes of me calling 911. They are well-connected, and they are super-professional. I am so thankful they exist!!! Hope I don't need you too soon guys, but if I do, I know who to call 1st. I couldn't even get any other towing company on the phone...
