.

We were living the American Dream until my own business went belly up and I had no idea how I was going to keep a roof over the heads of my pregnant wife and two kids. We were in trouble. One missed mortgage payment turned into three and eventually 16. The notices and threats started to pile up. I was losing sleep and my mind and that??s when I decided to get help. If the bank wasn??t going to give me any assistance then I was going to find someone who would. So, I called DLG Legal.
I had no idea if they could actually help me but I figured that if the bank had lawyers helping them, then I should get one on my side. I was told that the first step was to pre-qualify me for a loan modification because they didn??t want to waste my time or theirs. I appreciated that. I didn??t want a sales pitch. I wanted the truth. I wanted to know if they could really save my home.
My consultant was Kelly. She asked me a series of questions to better evaluate my situation. Those questions included personal financial information like my income and household expenses as well as financial questions about my home such as my mortgage balance, monthly payment and number of months behind. Kelly briefly explained the entire process to me and what I should expect over the next few months. Once my information met their criteria, I then got to talk to a DLG Legal senior analyst.
My senior analyst was Randy. He gave me some background on the different federal programs available for foreclosure prevention and loan. I was then given the opportunity to talk directly with one of their attorneys to answer any questions I might have. That was great. I talked to Sean and he took real good care of me. I really felt that we finally had someone on our side; a real lawyer who not only understood foreclosure prevention and loan modification but also understood me and my family.
Within 48 hours of enrolling with DLG Legal, we received a phone call from Brenna. She gave us a brief outline of what paperwork would be needed to begin the foreclosure prevention and loan modification process.
Our Intake Specialist was Michelle and she earned her paycheck with us. She walked me through the forms one by one to help get them completed.
About a week later, I got a call from Michelle asking me how things were going. I could tell she was anxious to get my packet together but she wasn??t being too pushy. My information was placed into their secured database and my Intake experience was complete.
LMP stands for Loan Modification Packet. Basically, it is the financial packet that will be sent to my lender in application for my loan modification. And believe me, this is where you??re going to be especially happy that you??ve got DLG Legal on your side. First, they reviewed my Intake Packet once again but not just for completion but also for perception because I was about to introduced to three very nasty letters.
My LMP specialist was Ashley. She made it very clear that lenders would often look for excuses to reject my application. If all else failed, they would even delay the process long enough to disqualify me. But not this time. Not with DLG Legal on my side.
As soon as my LMP was sent to the mortgage servicer, I received a call from my DLG paralegal who was handling my processing. Her name was Kim. Once again, we reviewed my documents to make sure everything was in order and we would repeat this process about every other month to proactively update my records with the loan servicer. She was making sure my lender had no excuse to stop my loan modification.
This began a weekly routine of Kim calling my servicer and then calling me with the update. She was making sure that my application went from the servicer??s Advocate to their Negotiator to their Underwriter. I was told that this review process could last anywhere from 1 month to over a year and was glad I had the DLG Legal team placing those phone calls and applying that pressure on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
About five months later, our patience paid off. We got a letter in the mail stating that our HAMP loan modification had been approved. Our monthly payment went from $3,485 to $2,639. We were saving $846 each and every month. Over a year, that was a total savings of $10,152.
The home that my wife and I raised our first two children would also be the home that we would also raise our third. And I can honestly say that we could not have done it without DLG Legal. I want to say it was their expertise. I want to say it was their diligence. But when I sit down and go over the experience, I have to say that it was the fact that DLG Legal cared as much about their job as we did about our home. Together, we were a team.
If you need help to save your home, I encourage you to checkout DLG Legal; having someone who knows what they are doing on your side makes all the difference.
Thank you DLG Legal! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XIpD_8TeUI&feature=relmfu
