Our "so loved" 13 year old Westie, Mac, had been suffering with lymphoma for nearly 2 years and he then became diabetic. He was such a stoic dog, but we knew we needed to return him to his happy hunting grounds. We contacted Dr. Cornelius and she came as we had arranged. What a vital, personal and beautiful service she provides, helping the family say goodbye to their pet family member. She was gentle, caring and calm. She made Mac comfortable and her demeanor helped us through this difficult evening. I would highly recommend Dr. Cornelius.

When my adored 12 year old Yorkie, Harley, he got to a point he no longer knew me or any of the things he always enjoyed, I knew it was time. He always loved going on car rides, and I just could not let his last ride be to the vet's office.

The process itself was very peaceful and as difficult as it was, I was relieved my little guy was no longer suffering. Dr. Cornelius was very professional and caring. I really hope it is a long time before I need her again but when I do, I will definitely give her a call. I highly recommend her services!

The time came when it became apparent that my cat Natasha was suffering needlessly. Her trips to a veterinary clinic were horrible experiences for her, and I couldn't stand the idea of her in such fear in her last moments here. I tried to get hold of several veterinarians to perform in-home euthanasia. Dr. Christie Cornelius responded quickly, and was at my home soon after completing another appointment. Christie made Natasha's last moments as comfortable and peaceful as could be. Christie's gentleness, empathy and competence were a true blessing. She is obviously dedicated to what she does for our pets. I highly recommend Dr. Cornelius to anyone wanting to provide the best last moments that they can for their pet.

It was a shock when I found out my 10-year old rottie had fatal bone marrow cancer. After a week of hospitals away from me, she was still too sick to put it off, but I just couldn't take her to yet another vet, even our own beloved Dr. Upton. Dr. Cornelius was a Godsend - very compassionate. For Raj, it was just a wonderful, nice visitor to the house, and then she was just sleeping peacefully. Dr. Cornelius then took care of everything. I can't imagine doing this any other way now.

Our 15 year old poodle had been slowly declining over the past year or so, with a marked decline in the past two weeks. Unfortunately, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let him go. From answering my phone call after 8pm and talking with me (through my tears) to coming to the house on a Saturday to help us say good bye to our beloved family member, Dr. Cornelius showed such compassion and kindness, as well as demonstrating knowledge about the medical aspect of the situation. We were able to be with him in his bed, petting him when he crossed the bridge.

I would highly recommend Dr. Cornelius and Pets Last Wishes. She is clearly an animal lover and is passionate about what she does. She is definitely a very special person. Dr. Cornelius helped to make a very difficult situation a little bit easier.
