My experience at Therapy Link was a frustrating waste of time. During the second meeting, the therapist could not seem to recall my answers to questions she had asked during the first meeting. She continued to suggest exercises that I either could not do or had great difficulty doing because of a mobility issue unrelated the the back problems that brought me to Therapy Link. Her planned exercises for day two ALL involved extensive use of an ankle that is virtually fused! When I refused those exercises, she resorted to a rote repetition of the previous day's exercises (which I had already done at home as instructed). I did not see evidence of a structured plan to address my back issues. I don't think I am expecting too much when I say she should have had a plan worked up after the first meeting that did not involve using an ankle that she knew did not work properly.\r

Not only was there no evidence of a workable plan, but the therapist was a bit nasty during our second encounter. She suggested that I walk on a treadmill; when I refused ,she asked me why I would not walk on a treadmill if I could walk on the ground. That seemed to me particularly insensitive and sarcastic. Of course, I walk on the ground because I have to in order to get from place to place. \r

The customer service is poor as well. I called to cancel my remaining appointments and was told I should talk to a different therapist. After about ten minutes on hold, I hung up. Apparently the therapist was busy, but the receptionist never returned to tell me that. Customer service on my first appointment was equally poor. I arrived on time for a 12:30 appointment, rang the bell as instructed, and sat in the waiting room for over 25 minutes before anyone even came to check me in. My scheduled one hour appointment started at almost 1:00 PM and ended at 1:40 PM. I imagine my insurance was billed for the full hour intake.\r

I do not recommend Therapy Link.

I do not recommend Therapy Link.

Pros: in the neighborhood

Cons: customer service, therapist's attitude and performance
