On Saturday June 28th, Eagle Lines came to my home in South Easton, MA to move a bedroom set and a sectional couch. This was a very small and simple job to accomplish. To make it even easier, my new residence was less than 100 yards down the street.

I have moved several times in the past, out of state and with many more items. This was not that type of move. This was easy. This should have been a piece of cake.

Unfortunately, I was left with a severely damaged hardwood floor in my new master bedroom. The floor was seriously scratched up. When I pointed out the obvious damage to the mover in the room he denied doing it. Not understanding English, I reported it to one of the other movers who understood English. He also denied they caused the damage.

I told them the damages were not present prior to their arrival and entry into the room. They continued to deny causing the glaringly obvious damage to the floor. One of the movers took photos of the deep scratches and reported the incident to his boss. I told him that I would be contacting the company on Monday to report the issue and request the damages be repaired.

When I reported the issue to the company, a representative from Eagle Lines informed me that none of his movers caused the damages and that they were not going to accept responsibility for it. After several e-mails denying all of the damages and continued refusal to take accountability for their actions, I was left with no choice but to seek alternative solutions and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

If you are seeking a reputable, professional, and accountable moving company, look elsewhere. Eagle Lines has proved they are none of those.
