This crew is on top of things I had a lot of chronic pain issues in my knees, ankles, and hips, and worked for several months in 2010-2011 with these guys, which helped me a lot. I appreciated that, although they had various magical tech devices doing laser therapy, sonic therapy, etc., they were totally willing to work with my desire to primarily focus on exercise. My problem is pretty stubborn and due to some genetic anomalies, but I'm continuing the exercises I learned with them to this day, and from month to month am still noticing improvements. I also thought they were thoughtful about the use of heat and cold treatments, and gave me good advice for how to use them strategically at home. On the administrative side, they're really fantastic. Nellie photocopied both sides of my insurance card and took care of all the confusing billing issues, just charging me my co-pay. Maybe this isn't a big concern for you, but insurance is for me a big howling black hole of mystery and despair, so I really appreciated that. She was also great both over the phone and over email for scheduling appointments. I should also mention - I didn't have an especially massage-able problem, but the couple times Joe or Romy worked on my knee area were pretty soothing. When my boyfriend had back pain, I referred him here, and he had a great massage + exercise experience. After a couple massages, he had a much better understanding of how apparently localized pain in one part of his back was related to tension and misused throughout his back. So I feel I can say pretty confidently that this crew is on top of things regardless of whether your issue is going to be treated with exercise, massage, low-tech heat/ice, high-tech sonic/laser therapy, or some combination thereof.
