I try to make reviews as subjective as possible and also try to give establishments numerous chances to redeem themselves, if there is any chance that they may have some potential. Franks Pizza is a fairly new Pizza and Restaurant located in a small strip mall. Their pizza is better than average a 7 on a scale of 1-10 IF they give you what you order, IF they dont burn it, and IF they dont overcharge you for it. If you buy a full pie or slices, pay close attention to what you are being charged. I dont know if it is on purpose or just some of the guys do not know the prices, but after I started paying attention, several times they tried to charge me about 25% more for slices. As for eating in the dining room the food is about a 4 on a scale of 1-10. The service is poor, a 1 on scale of 1-10. While the waitresses are somewhat polite they are completely inept. The last time we went there, we took another couple to eat in the dining room (we just wanted to go to someplace close by). The waitresses forgot our appetizers even though I reminded them once. When I asked the second time about the appetizers and told them that if they had not put the order in, to cancel it, because we wanted them before the main course they did bring the appetizer BUT they held back the rest of the meal, so when they finally brought the main course they were luke warm at best. On top of that they only brought out 3 of the 4 meals. Then they disappeared. When I finally got up out of my seat and walked over to the kitchen to see where our friends Stromboli was, they said that it was on its way. When the finally brought it out about 5 minutes later it was luke warm so it had been sitting somewhere. It should have been too hot to eat if it had just come out of the oven. On top of all this, they made a BIG mistake on the bill.
So to sum up if you want just pizza to go or slices to eat there without a waitress and IF they give you want you want and do not overcharge you - then they are worth a try. For the dining room forget it go someplace else. The owner seems to be a nice guy and does try to serve the public but he does not do everything himself and that does not help the dining patrons.
