There are a lot of things to like about The Learning Experience.

Firstly, my daughter loves it there. I can't emphasize how important this is. Previous to TLE, we took our daughter to a different daycare, and she was clingy and throw tantrums at dropoff in the morning, and she had picked up hitting. Her behavior at home had changed for the worse. Once we started at TLE, it was seriously an overnight change. She would send US off at drop off. When I pick her up, she says "Bye Bye elephant, see you tomorrow!" to the elephant (the mascot, which is on the wall outside the building).

Secondly, the staff is friendly and takes time to tell me about my daughter's day. Even if I show up 5 minutes before closing time, and there is stuff to be cleaned up, the teacher will take time to tell me a story about something interesting or funny that happened with my daughter.

And, they have a really great curriculum. They teach the kids things like sign language, math, music, and yoga. My daughter brings home artwork pretty much every single day. I'm pretty certain that by the time kindergarten comes around, my daughter is going to be way ahead of the curve.

The main downside is that in the evening, my daughter is having too much fun and doesn't want to go home. Oh wait. That's not a downside. Yeah, this place is pretty great.

You seriously cannot find a better place than this in Simi Valley! Karyn, the director is amazing! The staff is so wonderful and great with the kids. So happy that TLE is part of So Cal now. My daughter has learned so much; we love their 12-week programs which are added to their current curriculum - so far its been yoga, math and music. We use the yoga mat at home together and practice our numbers from the math kit, so the learning continues at home. She surprised me a month ago when she counted to 10 in Spanish! It's great here, they go above and beyond my expectations.
