Was not very pleased with the work they did for me. Person I dealt with was rude, didn't feel welcome. I would suggest to give someone else a call for your powder coating jobs.

Very Rude guy/owner! Do not powder coat with them. There are tons of other companies that powder coat in Charlotte and Hot box is not worth giving them your business.

I have had two sets of rims powder coated at Hot Box and they both came out beautifully. Actually, a detailer ruined my first set of wheels by using acid to clean them on a scorching hot day and I was just sick that I was going to have to try and threaten him with a lawsuit so I could get them redone. But, the owner at Hot Box told me that he would redo them for me for free because he wanted me to be happy and send him more business.\r\n \r\nListen, I am in the auto industry and repair minor curb damage and paint rims for a living, but, powder coating is just a better way to go if you really want to bullet proof any surface.\r\n\r\nHot Box's prices are even less than what my buddies who powder coat charge our dealer accounts. That's why I gave them a try in the first place. They get your job done quick, too. And they have lots of samples for you to look at, so you can pick exactly what color and texture you want and know what it will look like beforehand. The owner is a super nice guy and stands behind his work.\r\n\r\nLook, I don't know what the other reviewer here is trying to do bad mouthing this business, but, my number is 704.441.9168 and I do business in Charlotte, Fort Mill and Rock Hill everyday. I recommend Hot Box to my friends and customers all the time. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call me and I will be happy to tell you more about my experience with them.\r\n\r\nTripp Pierson

Do not even consider Hot Box. Service is slow, quality of work is horrible, and the owner is extremely unprofessional. I took a vintage motorcycle frame and a few components in to get powder coated. He quoted me 2 weeks, but one month later he still hadn't begun. When I finally received the parts, they looked good at first (compared to a rusty old frame anything shiny looks good), many threads were sealed by paint, drips everywhere, and the paint is nearly an eighth-of-an-inch thick in some places. Nearly every part besides the frame was returned unusable! To top it off when I went in to discuss this with him, he first said everything looked fine to him, then he lost his temper, let loose some profanities and told me to get the f--k out. I left immediately, as he was being far from reasonable.
