back in november of 2011 i went in like usual to get a bunch of new release games i have spent thousands at that store over the last 5 years and was really indebted to mike there who had always shown me great customer service and treated me with the utmost respect i had created a bond with him and a few others, unfortunatley for me in november i went in to buy these games and a employee by the name of charlie harrassed and threatened me over something i had supposedly said about him i didnt even know this guy on a personal or freindship type level so i was taken aback by the outright disrespect he had shown me i fealt afraid for my safety and absolutely dissapointed by the lack of punishment on the managers part (all she did was send him to the break room) and she proceeded to tell me i had caused him to treat me that way and that i was a pain for them because i buy in bulk and sometimes the things they sold me would not work so i returned or exchanged it, i put the games on the counter and i told her i would never shop there again and i have not done so since i did call the gamestop corprate offices over this situation and they told me it had to be my fault that i had no right to even call them to ask them to do anything about it they told me i was a constant problem because of my return rate wich to put that into perspective for people i spend on a minimum 1000 dollars a month on games and systems so 1 out of ten games is bound to be defective because of scratches or something else, they didnt punish him nor did they punish the manager who in my opinion hates her job there because she treats the customers like a hinderance im dissapointed they couldnt at least do something for me in regards to the emotional stress i had to go through and the disrespect the corprate office showed me im not one to moan and groan i just expect good service when i have spent so much there and treated the employees with respect, with no positive outcome from all of this i have not shopped there since and i know from talking to a freind of mine who works at a gamestop in hurst on pipeline who happens to know exactly what happened that charlie is no longer there due to some preatty serious issues they had let him go but the manager is still employed even after her outright lies and humiliation to me verry unfortunate but thats how they work they get our money and treat us like dogs i love gamestop i just hate the service and the respect i recieved from both sides of that company if you work in a corprate office you could have done something to make it right by me instead you put me down and treated me like my money and my respect towards all of you didnt matter i have the whole thing recorded from november mabye i should post it on youtube and send it out to every major video game website because im hurt and im still amazed at the total lack of kindness i was shown by corprate and by that store so thanks gamestop for making me feel like im not a valued customer and for letting your employee lie and treat me like trash.
