Framing Plus is family owned and operated by Wayne and Brenda Larson since 1984. Shortly after moving back to the cities from college in Fargo, Wayne and Brenda opened a little shop in Anoka on 2nd Ave where they had frame it yourself booths, did custom framing and sold needlework They outgrew 3 spaces and moved to Main St in Anoka where they featured artists James Meager and Susan Amidon and others at their yearly open house. Their unique and quality framing including hand carving in mats, and personal service brought them customers like your next door neighbor and corporate accounts like the Timberwolves and players including Kevin Garnett. They frame items from children's art to an Olympic gold metal. 1999 they moved to the old 100 yr old Hoglund Flower shop property where they have a warm and peaceful atmosphere to spend time one on one with each client and their art. When the recession hit they chose to cut back on hours and since then have kept the same limited hours and offer appointments morning and evening to eliminate interruption. We count it a privilege you trust us with your unique pieces and memories and will care for them like our own.
