After 30+ years of owning cats, this is the best veterinary clinic and staff I have ever known! Dr. Brady Vanderlin and his exceptional staff go above & beyond to help their clients, both animal and human alike. I refer everyone here and can't imagine taking my own felines - many with special needs - anywhere else! \nMary M. in NW LV

To anyone reading this page and contemplating whether or not this animal hospital is for you, I highly recommend Centennial Hills. But don't take it from me, go there yourself and check it out with your own eyes. If you're too busy for that, just call and try to schedule a tour, the staff has always been very accommodating with things like that. I just sent my neighbors down there two weeks ago and they have basically made Centennial Hills their vets for life.

I have been going to Cent Hills Anm Hosp for a couple of years now and have never had a bad experience. The girls up front were always courteous and kind. There have been a few vets there over the years that have really done excellent with my Buddy since I rescued him 3 years a ago- Dr. Porter, Dr. VanderLind, and Dr. Stooksbury. The veterinarians have always been so kind and have answered all of my questions. I started with Dr. Porter a few years back, and have seen Dr. Vanderlind a few times, but I absolutely LOVE Dr. Stooksbury. She spends time answering all of my questions, and goes above and beyond what any normal vet would do. I know the wait can be a little long at times, especially on Saturdays, but knowing the quality of service that my Buddy received is absolutely worth it. I have found that if you need a quick in and out, schedule an appointment, and it definetely saves ssome time. The girls up at the front desk are wonderful! I have seen them busy as could be and they are always smiling and helpful. I won't ever take my pets anywhere else.

I recently went in to cent hills animal hospital and saw Dr Vanderlin. First off, he was very condescending to me from the beginning. Things got out of hand and he started yelling at me! The conversation went to the lobby of this place where he was STILL yelling at me in front of clients!! How unprofessional!! A lady that worked there tried to talk to me, but the Dr yelled at her! Saying ""get out of my way"" What the hell kind of place is this??? That Dr needs to learn how to handle his anger. I ended up going to creature comforts after this fiasco and was very happy! I didn't get yelled at and my pet got top notch veterinary care! My wife and I will continue going to Creature Comforts NEVER TO CENT HILLS!!!

We have used Centennial since 2004 and would go nowhere else. They have treated 3 of our dogs. \r\n\r\nDr. Vanderlind is our current vet there and has taken care of our boy since he was 7.5 weeks old. The Vet Techs and Dr. V treat him like family.\r\n\r\nI think the most important thing people need to do is establish a relationship with your vet like you would for yourself. \r\n\r\nDr. V knows every inch of my little guy and knows when he is out of whack. He gets his shots in the room with us and they even special order the manufacturer of the vaccine company we like to use.\r\n\r\nTheir PetPortal is fantastic for keeping track of your pet.\r\n\r\nBasically we love them!!! So does my boy!!!

I would like to thank Centennial Hills Animal Hospital for their caring of my puppy. At times there are communication glitches and this may very well have been the case for us. Upon further communications with the hospital, we are delighted to be able to pick up our recovering puppy today.\r\n\r\n

I moved here a couple of months ago from Oregon, and am very happy. I first brought in my two cuddle bugs for vaccines and the doctors and staff were great!! Everyone was very nice and helpful, and the place was really clean. The prices are much better than back home. Since moving here, I've had to go out of town a few times and have had to put them in their boarding area. I was really nervous because my babies are on a very special, all natural, home cooked diet and the last place I took them in Oregon couldn't get feeding them right and most of the food went bad! Cent Hills was very accomodating to my pets and even heated their food every day. They were great! A+++ from me!

The vet I'd been using for 9 years went out of business so I tried this place because it was close to my ranch. They took my dog out of the exam room just for a rabies shot! The exam rooms only have brochures and a video monitor in them... no equipment or supplies so apparently all treatment is done out of your view. I prefer to be present during treatment. I took one of my dogs in to have ONE small puncture wound treated and they wanted to put him under general anesthesia, then suggested he have a $600 teeth cleaning ""since he'd be knocked out"". I asked if they could just lance and clean the wound, put in a drainage tube and give me some antibiotics. They agreed to lance and clean the wound but refused to irrigate it or put in a tube without the general anesthesia! I will NOT take my dogs there again.

Pros: They do in-home euthanasia

Cons: Won't treat your animal in front of you

brought my dog in to get nutered. never got him home for about 7 days, he was bleeding and in alot of pain, they said they needed to order more test that would cost another 235.00. since my dog looked like death the 3rd day i said go ahead. The next day he looked fine. but the tests results would come back in 3 days. they wanted to keep him for another 3-4 days and not charge me..? said that this never happens maybe 1-2 a yr. i visited him twice a day and brough my own food, they did say they were giving him there own ( human food) so he would take his meds. at the end of this long road i ended up paying about 600.00 at the end including refills for his meds.

Cons: almost died

I looked around for a while to find a reasonably priced teeth cleaning. Their dental month is great, saved a ton of cash. Dr, Macky is great, she took time to go over things with me and I even got to watch a video on the how they do it. Love her!

I have been with Centennial Hills Animal hospital for over 4 years. I have quite a few pets and many have special needs. I had to go out of town and they took my pets in for boarding at the last minute, even my diabetic cat, Butch. They had someone there all night to watch him and kept him where a someone could see him at all times. They are always wonderful with all of my pets! They are always there when I need them.

Do not board your pet here. They overbook on cages and dogs get put into small cages while the owner is still being charged for a bigger cage or a run. The dogs are cramped into cages. This is what happened to my dog and who KNOWS who else this is happening to.

This vet office is by far the WORST place I have ever taken my dog. I took my dog in to get his shots and a couple days later my dog had a red, swollen bald bump on his leg where he got the rabies shot. I talked to Dr. Vanderlin and he said that it was the manufactures fault and that they would pay for the shot. They did not take any responsibility for what they put in my dog or how the shot was administered. Then a couple weeks later I took my dog to be boarded at Centennial, I called the day after dropping him off to see how he was doing and the receptionist said he was eating and everything was just fine. When I picked my dog up he seemed okay. But about a couple hours later he was throwing up and had diahrrea every half hour. I called the vet and they told me they would do a curtousy exam. I brought my dog in and I asked the vet if they ever fed him anything weird over his visit with them and they said that he ate his own food, but none of his food was gone when I got him back. So they said we can do x-rays and bloods tests to see what is going on but I would be responsible for the bill. I told them that he was not like this before I dropped him off and he has been boarded before with no problems. They would not take any respondsibility for anything and just blamed it on stress. I WILL NEVER take my dog back here ever again!

Wonderful care for my pets, excellent hours and prices. Love the Military discount. Moved recently to another state and when I needed assistance they were STILL willing to assist me and my pets! In a world of deplorable customer service and a feeling that you don't matter, Centennial Hills Animal Hospital takes you back to the small town care and relationship that makes doing business with them a treat. You could not ask for better or more compassionate care for your animal family!!

I received a prescription for my cat. The RX was for 1 ml every 12 hrs for 10 days. They sent me home with a 15 ml bottle when the RX calls for 20 ml. They refused to make up the difference, they want me to come and buy another bottle. One would think you would get the RX prescribed when you leave, I dont pay twice for my own RX,s\r\n
