Any time I stay at the airport in LAX, my favourite location is The Four Points by Sheraton LAX. I have a great room that is large, large beds (essential for me), clean, love the food and the prices, handy to where I need to go and most of all, great value. By the wayt, I have always had a great experience with the staff and management.\r\n\r\nI also recommend getting to be a member of Starwood. I used my points for the Sheraton Maui. That was truly memorable. \r\n\r\nLove sharing what works and my best experiences.

I am staying for a week at Four Points -- and have been eaten alive by BEDBUGS. When I went to the hotel management, they were very unconcerned! They suggested it was a food allergy. I am a professional exectuive chef, well versed in allergies -- and knew that was not the case. I had a doctor look at it, and it was confirmed; BEDBUGS. The management still did not care! After much fuss, I got a new room -- I am leaving tomorrow, and cannot wait to leave this horrible hotel. Stay only if you want BEDBUGS and rudeness!!!!!

I usually stay at this hotel when i have a business visit near LAX. The experience is near perfect from the time you check in through check out.Over all this hotel is cheaper than lot of others in the area & still offers the same high standard.

All in all -- one night stay, maybe. Anything more than that and you need to find another place that gives you more luxury for your money.\r\n\r\nI had to stay there for a week for business and I got the worst service I've had at a hotel. Every time I came back to my room for the day, my card never worked.... and this was always when I had 7 things in my hands and I REALLY needed to use the restroom. :-X I asked if I could get a refrigerator as some of my co-workers had one in their room, so I was told they had a few and would check on it and give me a call back. Two days later, I still hadn't heard back, so I called and requested again. This time, I was told there weren't any! And this was during the week! Thanks for the heads up.... Also, I NEVER had internet access the whole week I was there as the wi-fi was down. It was out and they never knew when it would be back even in the lobby. The best thing -- they didn't offer to comp the computer usage in the business center. The computers there ran through another company. Not only did they not comp, but the hotel still tried to charge me for the internet that never worked! I tried eating at the restaurant. Poor service, pathetic food, rip off. I went to the pool one early evening with three co-workers and my boss who were also staying at the hotel at that point. The pool that doesn't close till late evening was suddenly closing without reason. Mind you, we were not being loud, but having fun. We stayed anyways. The tiny workout room had three machines in it and some free weights. Does that sound like it's big enough for a 550+ room luxury hotel? And it wasn't open 24 hours like they stated. Hell, it wasn't even open everyday I went! Spend your money somewhere else.

I have stayed at some really nice Sheratons in the past. This place bore some resemblance, but not much. This hotel knows that being right next to LAX that they don't really have to try all that hard -- they don't need repeat customers. But it was convenient for where I was going for training. \r\nBut there were some problems: the bathtub in my otherwise renovated-but-good room was super narrow. The shower curtain bowed out at the top to give you a little more room, which worked. However, the cloth shower curtain liner bowed out over the edge of the tub, dripping water onto the floor. \r\nParking was limited. They allow people to leave their vehicles there when they fly out. I imagine you should just forget it if you're going there for a weekend. \r\nMy room faced the airport and the aircraft noise was not bad.\r\nMy government rate room included a free breakfast at the buffet -- which was fine. However, we went back to the hotel one day for lunch. It took 35 minutes for them to get our food out to us (we did get some bread after about 15 minutes). After ordering, we didn't see our server again until she brought our cold food to us. And to top it all -- they automatically included a 15% gratuity in the bill. There are very few options in the immediate area for food -- except for other hotels, a Burger King and a sandwich place. I was thankful I'd picked up a discount card -- they didn't get their gratuity.
