Local authors Meg Cowden and Kristy Boike will be onsite selling and signing their books, "Plant, Grow, Harvest, Repeat" and "Rise up, Little Bluebirds". Support our future female leaders, Girl Scout Troop 18407 will have cookies available for purchase from 10:00am - 1:00pm. 10:00 AM - 4:00 PMIt's the GrowHaus official kickoff to the Gardening Season! Join us for a day to celebrate the season with food and fun for all. Create an almost forgotten tradition, May Day Baskets. As the custom goes, towards the end of April people would collect flowers, candies and other goodies to put into baskets which would be hung on the doors of friends and loved ones. New Hope Farmacy - One of our local vendors will be onsite teaching how to grow edible mushrooms indoors and out with kits available for purchase. The Minnesota Bee Squad - Learn about the virtue of bees and the squad's Bee Network program. Cookies and Cream - The Twin Cities original, customizable cookie dough company will be at GrowHaus with ice cream and their scrumptious, cookie dough goodness! Minnesota State Horticultural Society - Sign up to win a free membership to the Minnesota State Horticultural Society. Monarchs and Milkweed Join Carol Hatcher, a Wright County Master Gardener to learn more about monarchs and milkweed. Pencil the date, more to come! 1:00 PM - 3:00 PMThe workshop covers creating a summer annual combination planter. Get your hands dirty and bring out your creative side creating your own colorful annual container! Bring your own container(s) or buy one from our extensive collection. Our talented team will be on hand to help you create an amazing combination of summer plants to dress your doorstep, fill your window box or make a hanging basket.
