Santa Monica Bay Physicians

Bad office. I had to wait 2 hours to see a Doctor and the waiting room was filthy.The Doctor, Doctor spector rushed me through and I still was sick 1 week later. I had to go and see my regular doctor who helped me with Antibiotics. Not a good place to go when you are sick and need some basic help.

I've had worked with 20th for 17 yrs or more and everyone gave quality care. I know there has been a change with staff, but the ones left give TLC!!

Lack of compassion is the word. There's a business-like attitude permeating among the doctors there. It's not that they do not work, or even work hard, but treating human beings takes more than just hard work-it requires understanding, reflection and a genuine sense of concern for their well-being. Does that truly exist?

I think of Santa Monica Bay Physicians, especially Dr. Paranal, and her Physicians Assistant, Louis, as FAMILY. They genuinely care about thier patients as Human Beings.

Uncaring, rude, poor attitude and unresponsive...the front office staff is nothing less than a bunch of rude, smartmouthed jerks who couldn't care less about the payments, I mean, patients who walk in the door of this poor excuse of a medical office. Long waits, up to 1 1/2 hours when one arrives on time for appointments...no apologies or acknowledgment from staff or physicians. Physicians practice assembly-line care; no personal touch or concern whatsoever. I called for a physical therapy prescription to be faxed to me [a simple request] as I was in significant pain, but despite three phone calls thoughout the day [9 am, 2pm, 5pm] and promises that the Rx was forthcoming, not one of these louts ever bothered to send the Rx nor did they even have the courtesy to return my calls! If you want to be rudely treated like a head of cattle and have your needs callously ignored, then these people will gleefully give you THAT treatment...come on down! Shame on you Drs. Cutler, Needham and your staff!

Dr. Steven Seizer is a top class doctor. He is very caring with his patients. We think very highly of him. He also does colonoscopies which is great since you don't have to go see anyone else, you stay with him for that. I would definitely highly recommend him as anyones family doc.

And Dr. Paranal is the best physician around. She is so caring and intuitive, she is such and amazing physician for the entire family! She is expert in a wide range of areas and has a great sense of humor!

Dr. Jeffrey Huang is a superb physician. He is caring and listens to your concerns. His assistant, Ricardo, has a great sense of humor and is always willing to help you out as much as he can. The office staff is also personable. When I have gone in for urgent care, the wait is never intolerable. The wait for regular appointments is short...they are usually on time.

My doctor is Dr. Geoffrey Huang at Santa Monica Bay Physicians. He is a very caring and thorough doctor. He is easy to reach and returns calls quickly. The whole office is very polite and attentive. I especially like that Dr. Huang personally calls us with test results. He also got me approved for an allergy medicine I wanted that isn't normally covered by my health plan.
