El Tepeyac Cafe

Lived around the corner from this place 30 some years ago, started going way back then when people lined up outside and around the block. It's a small place. Was always packed after church on Sunday. They have the best hollenbeck burritos, the most humongous burritos served. Of course they serve up menudo and a range of Mexican dishes. We still make it a point to stop there after a Dodger game for burritos.

El Tepeyac is the best authentic Mexican food around. We travel 40 miles to go there a few times a year. The neighborhood is a little scary but the food is completely worth it. Try the pork, chicken or beef burrito they are the best! All the food comes in huge portions and the prices are great too.

Nonesense? NOT. That burrito can't be put away even by the largest of men. If you think this is nonsense, go there and try one. If you can finish it all, send me the bill and I will reimburse you.

Don't summarily dismiss what people have to say about this food item until you have been there and eaten it. Then, and only then, are you able and qualified to comment on whether what ANYONE has to say about this humongous Smithsonian-esque masterpiece is indeed nonsense.

You must be a Bruin. Only illiterate idiots don't collect all of the facts before spouting off at the mouth. A salient Bruin trait.

The Tepeyac is a great real authentic mexican food you want to dine in. I went with my friends and order a big burrito that runs about $10.00 This burrito is bigger than your head. you need about 3 or 4 people to eat this. They have other good mexican food of your choice, but that burrito you must Try.

The burritos are excellent! The Manny special is amazing. The Hollenbeck is also very good. They are huge and much to much for just one person. Bring a friend to share.

Although we never felt safe going into this area, my dad took us here when I was a kid all of the time. The food was a steal! Great fresh cooked meals and a great price. The burritos would be enough for 2 to 3 peopel to eat off of. The patio are a is small an dinside is tight, but it was worth the wait.
