i've only been to this store a couple times because it isn't very close to where i usually shop. the parking lot was nice and big so that wasn't an issue. but i was trying to find the right case for my ipod and i asked one employee a couple questions and he acted like he was too busy to answer them. the cashier was very patient and kind though.

NO HELP!
by BILL W.
I have been in this store several time for different items. If you are lucky enough to find someone to help you THEY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING. Unbelieveable! Also I have found items advertised on sale on the internet that aren't for sale in the store. When questioned they say "of I guess we forgot to change the price".I'M NOT GOING BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

Newly-remodeled kids area features space for kids to try out laptops, video games and even arcade-type games. Advanced projection system with touch-floor panels keeps kids entertained. Buggy carts also available.
PROS: Kids entertainment section allows parents to shop longer
CONS: Getting kids out of the store

I recently was giving a new sound card and PC RAM from my boss. Unfortunately they did not work with my computer so I went to return them at Best Buy where I know she bought them from. I asked them to give me store credit as I did not have a receipt. They would not oblige. I was surprised as the items were clearly from their store. I guess they must have thought I stole them or something. Went back with the receipt a few days later and was given store credit. However, on both trips the customer service folks were sure not friendly. Not rude, but not friendly.

You can literally spend a whole day at Best Buy. They have pretty much any eletronics you need. Because they are such a large store, it is hard to find someone available to help you.

Great selection of all your home entertainment needs at competitive prices. Tons of CDs. This place does become a mad house on the weekends and especially during holidays so I recommend to do your shopping at another time. I've had mixed experiences with the helpfulness of the staff. That is not where this store excels.

if you need any type of electronic or gadget, best buy is the place to go. i've bought many CD's and DVD's here, as well as a TV, DVD player, camcorder, digital camera, printer, etc. it's a one-stop place for all your electronic needs. the prices are reasonable (like circuit city, they guarantee the lowest prices) and there's just so much stuff. beware that the holiday season is extremely busy, especially on the day after thanksgiving, when the line literally wraps around the store. that's the day i got my $39 DVD player.
PROS: large selection, prices
CONS: can get crowded

Finding any kind of help in this place is akin to banging your head against the wall...you will leave this place totally frustrated. It is so big and overwhelming and the help is so sparse that it severly degrades the shopping experience here. If you can help yourself this is your store!

I purchased my husband's Christmas gift from this store. This location is large and well-stocked. With ad in hand, my father and I found the right section after a few minutes. There were several of my husband's specific selection. Lines weren't long, so shopping was easy to complete. Their sales worked well for my budget too. Location is good. Didn't feel I had to drive across the whole city to reach the store. It is conveniently located on Foothill Blvd between Rosemead Blvd and Madre. Take the 210 frwy and exit at Madre, head north. Only thing negative I found was the parking. The place was packed; however, it was Thanksgiving weekend.

Best Buy is an amazing store. It has every kind of electronic you could ever want-they also sell CDs and DVDs. Major electronics like TVs, speakers, stereos, computers, and cameras are on display so you can check out the features for yourself. The store is huge and spacious, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

Best Buy is a pretty decent retail outlet, but that's all that it is - decent. I've been electronics shopping for several years now and have decided that your best bet in shopping is through the Internet. Best Buy has a very limited selection and doesn't do a very good job demoing their goods. When I tried to buy an mp3 player there, I realized that you can't actually try any of the open products because they don't leave them powered on - you can only look at them. Their return policy is better than some other places, but still not very good. Try Target before you try Best Buy if you have to go somewhere at all, thuogh I recommend using the Internet.

A great place to buy CD's. They have terrific sales on CD's and you can find just about anything that is somewhat popular. Of course, dont go looking for obsure albums (see Ameoba).
The only hassle is the parking can be somewhat problematic during peak shopping hours, as it is in same place as Bed Bath and Beyond, Starbucks and Ross.
They also have great deals on electronics, such as phones, computers and TV's. I tend to buy my computer supplies there, more out of proximity to my house than pricing. Although they do have good sales.
If you are with a guy, send them into Best Buy and he can meet you at the Starbucks.

I love this best buy. I go to this one when I am in the Pasadena area and I love the people that work there. Everyone is so nice and always willing to gelp you without you even asking them.
They also have a program there to help you with your shopping if you have kids. So you can like call in ahead of time and they will have someone there to assist you. This store is so much better than the Burbank store because their customer service is awesome!

Best Buy offers a large selection of electronics, appliances, computers, CDs, DVDs, and video games at reasonable prices. I have been shopping there for years and will probably continue to do so. Best Buy is a large store with a lot of merchandise, soif you need a number of items or simply want to look around, it is a good choice. The prices there aren't great, but they're decent. Best Buy is also a reputable company, which can take some of the anxiety out of buying electronics or a computer.
