Bark Avenue

This review is based on one day of day care.
The staff wouldn't let me look around before I left my dog. There only was one person on duty in a room full of dogs, and no one was playing with or working with the dogs. The worst thing I saw was that staff used a spray bottle, and they sprayed dogs in the face with water for barking or for seeking affection or attention from staff. When I arrived to pick up my dog, well before closing, there only was one person present, and my dog was crated/caged. I wonder how long he had been crated/caged.
I didn't think the space was sufficient for the number of dogs present that day .
I much prefer the professionals at WagVille on San Fernando Road.

PROS: The staff is nice to people, and they did give my dog medicine.
CONS: The staff did not seem very attentive to the dogs.

Bark Avenue is an absolutely wonderful place for you pooch or feline to spend a day. I've had the pleasure or should I say my little guy "Johhny" has had the pleasure of spending fun filled days at Bark Avenue. They have an excellent staff of caring and attentive people and I commend their dedication to the animals in their care. I have regularly used the daycare and boarding and I feel very relieved in knowing that when I have to leave him he gets excellent attention and care. Kodos to Melissa and the entire group for the wonderful work they do. Top drawer.

Talk about a great place to bring your dogs and cats! Bark Avenue is a new place in downtown L.A. to bring your pets for boarding, grooming, supplies, etc. The staff there is very friendly and attentive. The doggy daycare is designed with the pets in mind with a play pen and handlers ready to give them attention. I think that they even have a doggy pick up service if you want to have your dog picked up from your home to be groomed, etc. They really try to make things convenient for the client. I totally recommend Bark Avenue for all of your dog and cat needs.

Fabulous service, fabulous people. They do animal rescue also.
