Moved to a great location; a little smaller than the old location, but just a great. Still running his "used" animal rescue and still has all the items you need for your animals, they even added CHICKENS!!!! They are so cute!
So worth taking a look!
Keep up the good work NPPS!

I Highly Recommend NPPS for pet adoptions, as well as pet supplies. Josh will always take the time to talk to you about what products are best for your pets needs. He is an awesome person, with a real big heart for animals...his rescue program is not only affordable, but he actually has a return policy if the pet you adopt does not work out for you, he will always work something out with you, to ensure the animals well being and your happiness. I wouldn't go anywhere else! And don't forget about the Shot Clinic! Four times a month, Dr. Deam sets up right in the store! What a savings, and a Service, he is the BEST!

I went here to get my first dog. I went in looking for a small, and all that was left was one small frightened mean little black dog that was really hostile and loud. I was going to come back but then I realized, if I felt this way about him, most others would too. So I decided to give him a chance. Turns out, this little black sob was the best dog I could ever own. He was just scared from being a stray but he totally warmed up to me and is now a well trained loyal dog and it did not require too much work, considering I was 19 and it was my first dog. A few months later I decided to adopt him a brother. There I found another scared chihuahua that wasn't too keen of humans either but he learned to trust me and my other dog, Eugene. I love both of these dogs and my love for them isnt at all different because they weren't purebred or expensive. Prior to getting them at NPPS, I was looking on the internet to adopt a dog that had been thrown away, but most other places charge at LEAST $250. I was blessed to find a generous and kind pet shop owner such as NPPS that does not try to make a profit of f of saving the lives of tossed or forgotten animals. Love this place. Great employees, great supplies, great friends for life

This store is wonderful. I just moved here from an area chalk full of pet stores, and I am really glad to find this one. "Salt of the Earth" is what comes to mind when I think of the owners, who are committed to helping home animal shelter dogs and cats. While their store is not set up to make a ton of 'point-of-sales', they've got all kinds of general supplies, feed for a variety of animals, and they are knowledgeable about their products. Even if you're not in the market to adopt a pet, this store is a great one to support.
Instead of bringing in puppies from puppy mills (which is a big ethical no-no for me), these guys go out of their way to find homes for homeless - you can go in and meet puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats anytime; you'll pay the same as you would if you went to the pound. And these folks do this as a community service.

This is a great place with a knowledgeable owner. Their new address (not too far from the old location) is 67 N. Reino Dr., right behind the gas station at Reino and Borchard.

Great pet supply store, which carries everything from dog and cat food to rabbit pellets to bales of hay for your horse. A carry over from when the area was a farming community, and often has chickens for sale and more. They charge very reasonable prices and have a much better selection of feed for both pets and livestock than you'll ever find at one of the big chain pet stores. Very few toys and knicknacks -- they specialize in feed for your animal. Highly recommended.
