Gundlach Bundschu Winery

I loved their chardonnay flavored with pineapple and lemon flavors. The folks were friendly and the grounds just fabulous. We walked around and sat at a table for a long time because it was just so beautiful here.

If you are visiting the sonoma area, Gundlach Bundschu Winery should be on your list of stops. They have excellent wines and are great people. The winery is lovely and they have an interesting tour.

Don't worry about pronouncing this wineries name, the employees and regulars fondly call it "GB." They have a great opening wine that has a super high alcohol content - it's a great summer porch sipping wine.

They also have some other great wines including a yummy Pinot Noir along side some other more full bodied red wines.

Exceptional wines. Beautiful view. This is "do not miss" stop if you are visiting Sonoma or the Russian River wine country.
