Had Galkos Construction called my house and wanted to give me a energy survey. When the salesman got to my house all he wanted to do was sell me windows and solor panels. Galkos Construction's salesman was very pushy.

We have been treated with the utmost concern and caring every step of the way from Mr. Brian . providing us with all the answers to our questions, to Jennifer (in production) rescheduling the job start date when we had an emergency health issue, to the crew that did an excellent job preparing our house and applying the Tex-cote.
We were very impressed, five years ago, when we had Galkos Construction install vinyl windows throughout our home. The crew kept the glass and debris cleared all through the process of cutting out the old windows and installing the new ones. We have since seen a substantial reduction in the need for heating or cooling of our home, therefore reducing energy cost.
Because of this excellent service we decided to use Galkos Construction when we needed the outside of our home redone. Again, we are very impressed with the work that was done, from repairing of the existing stucco to the excellent application of the Armor-Tec. We tell everybody how impressed we are with the excellent job and courteous service we have received from your company.

"My name is Catherine G., I had four windows and a French door installed from Galkos Construction . This is the third time we have had Galkos come out to do work at our home.
The Installation crew is very professional and have provided us with very good service each time they have come. Their job is always complete and when they are finished, the only thing to show that they have been here are the lovely new windows and doors that they install. I would recommend them highly in the future. I'm sorry to see others had a bad experience because I'm very happy once again.

A few months ago my wife and I were approached by a Peakpower sales manger who suggested that we could reduce our current electric bill significantly. I was, at the very least, quite skeptical. After listening to what he had to say we set up an appointment to get the whole story. Upon completion of the presentation, my wife and I singed the agreement to have solar panels installed.
The solar panel installers from Galkos Construction came out on time and started preparing the roof for the panels. I was very please in how efficient the workers were and how the kept me abreast of each step of the process. Their ability and professionalism in getting the panels installed on a timely basis was only exceeded by their willingness to answer the myriad of questions I hit them with. I would be honored to have them work on my house at any time.
We received our first full month bill from the electric company and we were thrilled to see that we had saved $200.00 over the previous month. I feel strange in saying that I look forward with anticipation for our next bill. (Who is ever anxious to receive a bill?).
In closing, I would like to say that everything that was promised to us from Peakpower and Galkos construction was delivered and I would highly recommend all who were responsible for making our life a little easier and would welcome anyone wishing to look at the system or call for any questions.

Company is horrible. They will not stop calling me. I told them to stop, II complained to a couple supervisors and a manager, I put a complaint in with the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and with the BBB, but they won't STOP CALLING MY CELL PHONE. Not only that, but from what I can tell they overcharge people for their work and then finance it at a high rate so you can get the same work done anywhere else for much less.

I received a hard sell quote from them in 2007 and was NOT please with the price or the bad car salesman tactics. I did not use them and in fact did not complete the project. They called me today 06/08/09 and wanted to come by again for another quote with at least 50% off the original cost. I told the person on the phone that I could not schedule without talking to my husband first and he gave me a # to call back. I asked him if this was a call center and he said no that he was the assistant to the owner. Well His name is Mario and according to Galkos - When I called the # back the owners assistants name is Wendy. Here we go again... More lies from Galkos.

Wow it was just a couple of months ago my husband had Galkos install new vinyl replacement windows and solar. We were looking for quality products not the cheapest price. After doing some research we found that Galkos has been in business longer than most construction companies and most are no longer in business now. Not only did we upgrade to energy efficient products to save on energy but we got products that a company stands behind.
Galkos offers a lifetime warranty on their windows which we did not find offered by other companies. We just felt this comment surprising and would like to say we are very happy with our Windows and Solar and would definitely reccommend Galkos if you are looking for quality products.

I am very pleased with their workmanship and professionalism. Han is a very personal individual and does a good job in representing your company by doing what he can to accommodate the customer's needs.

My wife and I got several window estimates from different companies our self and we have to agree Galkos Construction was not the cheapest but what we found Galkos had the best warranty and a better product. Galkos also offers Anlin Windows not just Atrium. All of Anlin Windows and Doors do qualify for the energy tax rebate so we made to purchase. We have to admit the service was very good and we really love our windows. So if you are looking for good service and good products we would recommend Galkos to anyone look for new windows. We have found some negative reviews but more positives so we would have to say it probably goes with the saying you can't please everyone. Hope this helps thanks again Galkos.Brian Simmons.

We would like to express how satisfied we were with the installation of our windows done by Galkos Construction. Their work was extremely professional. Not only was their work excellent, but also themsleves were very cordial.
Customer service is something that lots of companies lack, however, We think Galkos is very lucky to have the kind of dedicated workers representing their company.
We would recommend Galkos in a heartbeat.

If you are looking for a construction company to purchase windows or probably any other home improvement upgrades we would highly recommend Galkos Construction. With all the discounts and service they offer we had to give them a try and purchased new vinyl windows. Our family is very please with the product and service we recieved from Galkos. Having been an architect on many commercial, educational, hospital and military construction projects, both small and large throughout the United States, I appreciate the quality work I recived from the profeesional installers. Galkos completed the project in a manner beyond our fondous expectations. My wife mentioned how clean the work areas were maintined and how well the final job appeared. It was a pleasure having Galkos install our new vinyl windows that just look beautiful. We would highly recommened Galkos Construction to anyone looking for great service.

We recently purchased a patio enclosure and texcote from Galkos Construction. The crew was very friendly and the job was done in a reasonable time. Construcion is never a quick process but we arevery happy with our patio encloser and texcote. The customer service was very good so we recommend this company if you are intersted in a patio cover, patio enclosure, texcote or vinyl windows.

I got a $30k quote on my windows. They said they make their own but that isnt true. They sell Atrium. I got my windows at Door and Window Plus in South El Monte for thousands less. Bryan was my salesman that came to my house. 626-354-4268

This afternoon, the final touches were made on my Armor-Tec coating and trim package I purchased from your company. I am extremely happy with the results and the professional standards demonstrated by your work crew. Everything I was promised, prior to signing the contract, was accomplished.
During the 10-day work period, I was approached by several of my neighbors inquiring as to the progress and coloring. I chose Cape Cod Blue with a white trim to accent my large, nearly 4000 square foot, two story home. The final result was simply, beautiful.
I do not write such flattering letters often, in fact, it is a shame that in the construction industry, most people are disappointed during and after the process is completed. Your company, Galkos Construction, stands apart in that everything from beginning to end was accomplished. Your crews were respectful of overspray, they covered all vehicles close by with plastic tarps, even neighbor?s cars parked next-door in their own driveways. Additionally, plants, patio tables and chairs were likewise covered.
I would recommend your services to anyone thinking of coating their homes. The investment of over 1 million dollars to purchase my home, well justifies the cost of Armor-Tec coating of less than 2% of my homes value.
In closing, please accept this letter as my family?s sincere THANK YOU for an excellent job!

Definitely recommend this company. I was going to purchase from them but cancelled and the owner personnally thanked us for even considering them for the service. He was very professional. They beat any price you see out there and "satisfaction guaranteed" or your money back. We only cancelled because our priorities changed in regards to our finances so we put it off for another year. Definitely using them next time.

Galkos is a horribly run business. I had them come out to give an estimate, passed on their quote, and unfortunately gave them my home number. For two years running, they keep calling my home, never leaving a message, and will not stop calling, in spite of repeat requests. If you do business with Galkos, DEFINITELY do not give them a phone number you use often. HORRIBLE!

The salesperson came to my home to give me a estimate. After he told me the price, I told him that I would need time to think about it and also get other estimates. At the end of the presentation, they put on the heavy hard sell tactic and want you to say yes right away today. After a while of arguing back and forth about why I cannot decide today right away, when I told him there is no way I was going to say yes today no matter what the price was, he became very infuriated and told me that they don't just come to give free estimates and that I was wasting HIS time - What about MY time that he wasted trying to argue with me!! He had a very bad attitude at the end and would not even want to give me his business card. Because of that, he just missed any chance of me ever calling him back for any business.

Just recently purchased 16 windows and texcote for our home and could not be happier. Our home looks brand new and the quality of workmanship was excellent. We looked into several different companies and decided to choose Galkos because of the product quality, the warranty and they offer financing. If you are looking to do any home improvments we would highly recommend Galkos Construction.

I just purchased 5 windows and 1 patio sliding door from Galkos Construction Co. The marketing man seem very nice and honest to us. He recommended us the Anlin infinity plus windows. The price is a little high for our budget, that is why we only bought 5 windows instead of 9. We can not wait to see how it look. Takes about 2-3 weeks to order, but only half a day to install. I'll let you know how it turn out. Well the windows looked very nice. The crews show up on time and they did a great job.

Just wanteded to say what a great company I have read a couple negative reviews so I thought I would help out and give my opinion about Galkos Construction. First of all love both products I have purchased in the past and the service was excellent. If you have any questions or concerns all you have to do is call. My Galkos patio cover was the first product I purchased and was very happy so when I bought my new property I purchased a Galkos sunroom. Theres nothing like sitting in a room full of windows watching the sunset and knowing you paid almost half than a regular addition. So I would recommend Galkos to my friends and family.

My service was great everything was straight foward the quote I recieved was what I paid usually if addition work is needed you pay additional money nothings free. Anyways My wife and I were very happy.

I had them come out to give me a quote on 6 windows, the saleman wasvery nice and we agreed on a price of $2,900..yes that's right $2,900 for all six. Then the final measurement guy came in measured and the next thing it was $5,900 because they had to adjust the size of my bedroom windows dueto some fire code. I think they should have this information in the very begining so that there is no surprises or maybe it was all part of their selling scheme. SO beware.

The salesman was very nice but I couldnt spend over $775 a window. He started at over $1500 a window and then dropped the price. Not very professional price. I told him I wanted the best price. He told me several times it was his lowest price but he still dropped 10 minutes later. The window was nice but only had one brand. Atrium which is a nice window but I found it much cheaper elsewhere.
