"The Woods" as my family calls it, is a tradition for celebrations. The cheesebread is to DIE FOR! The steaks are flavorful, but I still miss the swordfish they used to sell; it was my favorite entree.

The North Woods Inn is kind of a landmark and, for some folks, a tradition. Its unique hunting-lodge architecture and dimly lit, peanut-shells-on-the-floor ambiance shape the dining experience as much as the food. Good steaks here, though the prices can be high depending on what you order. It's a decent restaurant, but I think it's also overrated.
