Reviews for Cha Cha Cha

Ratings_icons Favorite Restaurant in LA

Elisabeth G.

Cha Cha Cha is my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. The atmosphere is great. It is well decorated and inviting. I usually order the appetizers because they are big enough to fill me up. There are also many vegetarian options among the appetizers. The best is the Guava and Goat Cheese Quesadilla. The main entrees are great as well. They are sometimes pricey, but come with a lot of food.

Ratings_icons yummy memories

This place has so many wonderful dishes that bring back memories of my grandmother's cooking, and you can't beat that! It is dark, but that can be very nice and romantic, the liquados (milkshake) were good, although I prefer them a little sweeter. We had the chef's choice appetizer, and nearly got full with just that alone! It had an nice assortment of ceviche, tamales, plantain balls stuffed with wonderful veggies, and a few othe delicious items. I had the seafood alfredo with lime and my husband had the fish of the day with black beans, saffron rice and fried plantains. Everything was wonderful! The waitstaff was friendly but not stiffling. Prices are moderate, but you can taste the food is made with love.

PROS: interesting dishes
CONS: can get a little pricey, but it is worth it.

Ratings_icons All Hype

I grew up in the neiborhood where the Cha Cha Cha is located and can't understand what all the hype is about.

I have eaten there a few time and tried their paella valenciana, mango chicken, and the bistec aregentino. All where decent but nothing special. Which is bad since the prices for each of these items ranges between $18-$35.

I also don't enjoy eating in the dark. It makes me a little weary of the food quality when the restaurant only has enough light for you not to fall asleep.

If you must eat at this restaurant, I recommend you come early so that there is enough daylight for you to be able to see and it is also not so crowded.

PROS: Food is okay
CONS: Pricey and dark

Ratings_icons Got to love it.

I been to this restaurant once, but I'm looking forward to go back. The food is great, the place is really wonderful, I love it. The neiborhood is not that great, but it really doesn't matter as long as you don't go alone.

I don't think I can even BEGIN to describe how amazing the food is here. this little out of the way shack (it looks like a shack...but go inside and you'll forget!) has the best carribean food. the service is great and I highly reccommend the jamacianjerk pork (spicy!) or the chicken covered in mango so good. it is a little pricey (BUT SO WORTH IT!) and you should make reservations it place is always hoping on the weekends.
