House Ear Institute offers rays of hope for hearing loss sufferers

I first learned about the House Ear Institute through a public radio ad and have an interest in hearing health. Then I explored their Web site. What amazing things they have been doing in the field of hearing loss research, all in our own backyard for 61 years! Hearing loss is a much bigger health problem than most people realize. If you don't know it already, they have an incredible walk through ear exhibit in their first floor lobby that is open to the public free of charge on weekdays. Check it out. They are a non-profit and depend on more people like me to help fund their scientific research projects.

the best hearing and hearing aid clinic in town. recommended by the best doctors. they stand by their products. if the hearing aids ever have a problem, they fix it for free!

My husband was diagnosed with Mienere's. It's an inner ear disease that causes vertigo and tinitus(ringing in the ears). He also suffered hearing loss. We were told this is the place to go for the best care. Well, it is! They are very efficient and they take alot of time with you, you don't feel hurried. The vitamins they prescribed for him seem to be helping since surgery is not an option.

This truly is a "world class" institute located not too far from downtown Los Angeles. These guys are truly "on the ball"- they called twice to remind me of my appointments and were very polite and considerate at the reception area. The medical staff seemed very knowledgeable and aware of very current treatment issues. They participate in the leading reserch projects related to hearing conditions. I was always treated effectively and efficiently, with the kindness from the staff very much appreciated. Even the parking here is simple!

This is apparently one of the best ear clinics in the nation. I had to wait forever to see the doctor, but was quite happy with the expertise they provided.
