Fast Autoworks

I found Fast Autoworks while searching the web for a place that would not break my bank and still give my 2007 Eclipse the best service. After speaking with the dealer (that wanted $500) for the 30K service I knew I had to find an alternative and Fast Autoworks was it!!
Tuan was very helpful from beginning to end. He gave me my estimate, told me exactly what would be done and how long it would take. He even had one of his team members give me a ride in their shuttle to the mall while I waited. When I picked up my car, Tuan sat down with me- reviewed the maintenance pkg. that was recommended for my car w/me and even had my engine compartment totally cleaned out- like NEW, performed not only the 30K service, but the 45K service to catch me up- all for $215- ... Im not a car guy, and don't speak the language, but he made every effort to speak mine. Thanks Fast Autoworks.

Have been to Fast Autoworks twice in last couple of years. Both times had car back quick and done right. Very reasonable. Engine compartment was cleaner than when I left it! Will be going back. Kevin and Tuan are pros.

I went to Fast Autoworks looking for full suspension for my Civic Hatch. and they got everything for me in less then a day. I have called them, and asked for the parts, and told me they can have the parts the next day. I didnt think they would have them in stock by the next day because there always busy. The following day, i recieve a call at 9am in the morning, from Tuan, letting me know that they have the full suspension brand new ready to go for installation. i brought the car there getting EXCELLENT SERVICE, and was finished with the suspension swap in less then an 30 minutes! These guys know there stuff well... Even if i had power tools and all the tools i need to do a suspension swap.. would take me more then an hour!

CHEERS GUYS!!!!

I wanted to let you guys know you did an amazing job on my suspension and
steering. I only drive it 10-15 miles a week but I can definitely feel a
difference in the overall smoothness and handling of the ride. I've had my
car's steering looked at by multiple mechanics over the last 4 years. You
guys are the first to actually make it feel right. I was even more impressed
when Kevin called me to check on how my car was running. This shows the
quality and the level of respect you have for your customers. Keep up the
great work and you'll have my business as long as I live in this area.

I took my daughters Mazda 6 to them. They found the problem, fixed it right and on time for a very good price. They even cleaned the car. They checked out the entire car for me at no charge and did some things for free. They will get all my future auto repair business. I really feel that I can trust them to do good work at a fair price, that's hard to find these days. Keven was great!!

Have you ever bought performance products for your car and had them installed at your local dealer but was poorly install or improperly installed? Dealerships usually don't have a knowledgeable background on performance products and install them improperly but at fastautoworks its a one stop shop for all your automotive needs from oil change to high performance race engines, done the right way. Keep your performance products working in proper condition, have the trained techs/mech at fastauto keep your products working as if the after market manufacturer intended it...

CAR: 2001 Volkswagen GTI 1.8T

SATISFACTION: I am satisfied with the quality of work. I would definitely come back if I lived in the area since they are honest and straight-forward. Would recommend.

PROS: Tuan and Kevin are straight-forward ASE certified mechanics/ professionals/ car-enthusiasts. Car rentals available a short walk away at the FAST Autoworks discounted rate. At pickup, my car was quickly washed and engine bay was quickly wiped down. My long drive to Houston was not inundated with problems.

CONS: Pricey. Timing belt, accessory belt, water pump, belt tensioner, camshaft and crankshaft seal, and maybe a few other items were changed in April to prepare for my move from Los Angeles to Houston. This job came at a cost of 700 even though I brought in all of my own parts (worth 300+). (Shops in Temple City offered to complete this job for 350, but work quality was questionable). Quoted work time was 1 day; I left my car there for 2 days instead so that nothing is overlooked. My tires were not rotated as promised... (As always, don't forget to ask for your wheel lock back). My engine cover had a really good crack when they finished (I'm definitely taking all covers off since another shop in Austin has just forgotten to bolt on my plastic skid plate, thus causing it to fly off while driving).

I brought my car here for some major problems it was having. They took it right away, and did a great job repairing it quickly, and saved me the costs of expensive parts (and even cleaned my dirty car a bit!). Great place!

I went to Fast Auto Works on the recommendation of my brother. I found Twan to be extremely honest and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make sure my car was ready for a road trip we were planning the next month. I was very impressed by the attention to detail and the willingness to "do a little extra" w/out nickel and diming me to death. They even steam cleaned my engine at no extra cost to me! They rotated my tires and we found that the wheels from the back had not been properly balanced by the dealer who installed them. Twan immediately took care of the problem and had me on my way quickly. I feel very comfortable that they recommended appropriate repairs and they stand behind their word and their work. I'd highly recommend this shop.

I took my car into Twan at the recommendation of a good friend. They spoke very highly of Fast Auto Works. I am very pleased with with the price and the service. Good follow up as well. They go beyond and above. In regards to to the guy's review with the leaking oil job, take your car back in. Give them a chance to check out the problem. They are very honest and willing to do a follow up. They want to know that their customers are happy:)

I recently had my first experience with Fast Autoworks and I can tell you it was excellent in every way. One would know this when coming into their shop-- the walls are completely lined with awards, certificates and trophies that the guys all have won for their expertise in all areas of car care! Kevin and Tuan had my car up and running in very good time and for less than the original estimate! The car is running beautifully! How awesome to have found personable, knowledgeable, highly ethical mechanics! As soon as my car needs TLC again, I will rush her right over to these excellent gentlemen-- and so should you!

I stopped by Fast Autoworks on 6.13.08 for an oil change. Tuan and Kevin were friendly and my Accord was taken in right away. After Kevin had done the work, Tuan handed me a bill of $37.85.

$37.85 was just for oil change, which included $15 of labor, $14.45 for fluids and $5.59 for the filter. That seems high to me.

And making matter worse, the next five days afterward, oil dripped on the garage floor. This did not happened with previous oil changes. That leaves questions about the work: was the drain plug not tightened enough or the oil was over-filled?

Now, I am afraid to go back for any other service that is more involved.

Willing to accommodate schedules to make it as easy as possible to get your car in top shape, providing top quality service without the pressure of unnecessary/expensive work, they truly care to keep your vehicle running at it's best. I know what you're thinking. This many good reviews for one place can't be real. It's gotta be a scam...I know b/c that was my first thought when I saw their reviews. Let me tell you though, that this place is no scam; like the title says, it's the best experience I've ever had at a garage.

I needed my timing belt (as well as water pump, seals, and tensioners) replaced on my '02 Xterra. My dealer quoted me an arm and a leg, so I decided to call around. After finding these guys on this site, I called em up and Tuan quoted me a price that was more than 25% less than what the dealer was charging. I brought it in and voila, a couple days later, my SUV is like brand new. It's like I just drove it off the lot. I usually try to take the metro/bus into work, but the next day, I decided to drive just so I could drive my car.

They cleaned the engine compartment out, and when my car starts up, there are no more noises or anything...just a smooth engine. Acceleration feels like it used to...no effort needed.

Tuan is a great guy and is upfront with what you need and what you won't need. He took the time to diagnose the truck just to make sure that nothing would be done that was unnecessary. When I got the car, Kevin went over the truck with me and showed me exactly what they did. First class people we are talking about here.

All I look for in a mechanic is good service, friendly people what want to do well by you, word-of-mouth recommendations, and a fair price. These guys are all that and much more. I've already recommended them to my girlfriend, family, and co-workers. It's a good feeling to say I've finally found "my" mechanic.

I've gone there to have to major things done to my car. the last job was to change out my head gasket that i blew. they took a little longer to finish the job, but the made sure my car was done 110% correctly the first time. They are the only mechanic that i trust being that they are both 100% certified, know what they are doing, offer a reasonably good price and they make sure the job is done right the first time so you dont have to get it done a second time. They're like straight A student that continue to do the extra credit

I have been in twice to get first to get my intake and it was sweet ..and at a later time I got and exhaust installed.. they did it quick and installed it right . They were also helpful with helping me choose an exhaust that wouldn't get me pulled over ....prices were good and i also will return and will tell friends about it to go in and get there car worked on.

Brought in my Nissan 200SX due to rough running and needing to smog the car. They recommended overhauling the ignition system, which significantly improved the engine and passed the smog check easily. They also changed out the vacuum lines (which made the engine even smoother). To my surprise, I also found out that the exhaust header was cracked and was the reason my spark plug wires kept getting cooked. I had a pretty bad experience with another mechanic. Wish I had found these guys sooner!

I have a 94' integra and i take my car here for all my needs. I dont trust very many people with my car but these guys are for sure on the top of my trust list! Even when i give them short notice and dont have much time they help me out, dont take weeks to do things. Also have some of the best prices around, actually the only better prices i can find is fake china town parts haha! Thanks tuan and kevin great shop great buisness, i recommend them to everybody, whether you need some new rims or an engine swap, they are the place to go.

I recently brought my '93 Honda Civic in for a major maintenance service and had my high expectations of FA soundly met. These guys are great (I have used them a few times and have never been disappointed). They were also fast, performing the services in less than 1.5 working days. They also showed me everything they had done under the hood which shined because they cleaned the engine compartment so well. Finally, they called me up the next day to ask me how things were going with my car which was sounding and droving noticeably better than when I had taken it in. If your looking for friendly, great, quality mechanics, their names are Tuan and Kevin and they can make your 15 yr old car shine at Fast Autoworks.

fast auto works was a great experience for me.. my car was hating and in desperate need of repair.. they worked great with my insurance company which really cut down the overall cost of all the repairs needed...they were fast, reliable,and got my car back to me as quick as possible..the staff was helpful and friendly and answered my questions very knowledgeably in sport tuner products.. i would absolutely recommend fast auto works too my friends and co workers..

This place is great! They have always taken great care of me. Their prices are competetive and their service is quality. The people are cool too. I have never left disappointed. I recommend Fast Auto to anyone thinking of doing aftermarket modifications as well as just the standard maintanence.

Fast autowork has great customer service and they did great work on my 1991 Acura Integra. They put a B16 motor and I have no problems with the motor at all. For their great service I give them four stars.

We recently had our Mitsubishi in for the 30K mile service and a new set of tires. Fast Autoworks was outstanding. The technicians were very courteous and professional. They gave us an excellent price on the tires and, to top it off, they even washed the car and cleaned the engine. When it's time for the next service, we will definitely be back.

Skeptical; suspicious, untrusting - or simply jaded by predatory tactics or fish and bait type lures?? I was! Even after reading the positive reviews. But yet, my car needed a timing belt and darn transmission pan was leaking - I had to choose. I chose Fast Autoworks - in part, thanks to these same reviews.

What can I say; friendly attitude, value deal; and best of all quality service. It took the skeptic out of me. Amazing what a bit of trust can do for I now feel that there is no better doctor for my car.

I went to Fast Autoworks based on the recommendations I read here. I've never needed major service on my CRV and I've always gone to the dealer for checkups. I came to FA with a list of things the dealer claimed I needed. Within 30 minutes they determined I did need everything, and they could get me 25% off dealer prices. FA only use genuine NEW parts, they're hooked into the dealer's system and can download my car's history, and (they really stress this) they give a full 2 year guarantee on all parts. The dealer only gives 60 days. Further, they have deals with other mechanics so if I break down in, say, Las Vegas within that 2 years and it's one of Fast Autoworks parts, I get free towing up to 50 miles, free rental car for a day and all the work is taken care of. Try getting that deal out of AAA. Oh, and they gives AAA discount too, up to $50. Then he threw in a few extras that I needed (like the alignment the dealer forgot to mention) and washed and vacuumed my filthy car.

I'm coming to Fast Autoworks from now on, even for routine checkups. As a woman who knows little about cars, it's really important to find a mechanic you can trust; I've been ripped off before. The place is amazingly clean for a garage, they are impressive businessman eager to show the differences between their deals and other car shops. Fast Autoworks really stands out.

Most impressive to me (and what I insist on showing everyone!) is the way they "cleaned up" my car engine. They were awfully modest about it, but lift that hood, and my 9 year old car looks like it rolled right off the showroom floor. You could eat off the engine; I can't believe how clean it is. Everything looks brand new and that wasn't even what they were working on!

Brought my 99 Civic in for a 60,000 mile timing belt water pump replacement .I live 15/20 miles away.Yes I could have taken it 2 blocks away but i have trust isuses with general mechanics.So I searched the internet and liked their web site and Bam ! the rest is history. They did an exellent job and the shined up the engine so that it could match the exteiror body .They also put me in the computer and did a follow up call to see if everything was ok.I defenitly recomend this place to my closest friends and familly and look forward to doing buiness in the future

Came in to get my car's rear arms bushing replaced, and Tuan
and his crew did a great job! Car runs great!
And got my car back at the time promised...

Would highly recommend these guys...fair price, great service, and
you can't beat the 2 yrs/24k miles warranty on their work.
That's better then the warranty you get from the dealership, so they
stand by their work.

Purchased the car from a private party and used Tuan and his crew to do a once through to make sure it was straight. A few discrepancies were found and he gave me his recommendations of how much it will cost to repair and what a fair price to offer to seller. I decided to have his shop take care of it since he was so up front with everything. His attention to detail was superb as he regarded the car I purchased as his own when repairing it. I would recommend Fast Auto works to anyone looking for a shop that is upfront and takes their profession seriously. They get 5 stars from me

I learned about Fast Autoworks from this website. The reviews here were great. But, you always have to ask, "Is this business really that good?" or " Are friends the only ones putting up positive reviews?". Well I can answer with an emphatic ... this place is that good and while I wasn't a friend before coming in, I now consider myself at least a big supporter.

Tuan and his entire staff were friendly and knowledgable. (That will get you 2-Stars.) The quote they gave me to replace the timing belt on my Honda was more than competitve. The work was done in one day as promised. (That will get you up to 3-Stars.) They even gave me a 2 year/24,000 mile warranty on the work as well. When I picked up the car I was even more surprised to see that they had completely cleaned the engine as part of the service. WOW! Almost like getting a new car again. (4-Stars and well deserved!!)

Now how do you get to 5-Stars? You follow-up later with your customer to make sure the car is still working great and that you remain happy with the work. That is customer service and 5-Stars at that!

It was my first repair job at F.A. and it's a good small shop. I got there late in the day and the shop was busy. No hassle at all and they quickly diagnosed my Lexus 's check engine light problem to one of the O2 sensors. The repair was done on a 2nd appointment. They checked out the wiring and changed the sensor. Price is not the cheapest but reasonable. I went with them because Tuan is knowledgeable and very upfront about the repair cost. The car is running good so far. I plan to go back.

The first time I visited I had rotors, cam gear, and pulley system done on my EK civic. The install was absolutely flawless, and they even had the courtesy to clean-out the engine bay. My engine never shined to nicely in the sun! I was impressed! The prices were definately reasonable. My second experience was great, as well. This time I needed rims, tires, tune-up, and an alignment (big time!). Once again, the service was awesome. My car has been running like a champ ever since! The staff/techs are super knowledgeable.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop. JDM is highly represented and welcomed! THEY EVEN DO AWESOME TUNE-UPS! --26 y/o, male, SGV

Fast Autoworks installed an A-Spec suspension on my Acura and did a good job on it. The car handles wonderfully and I don't think the Acura dealership could have done any better. I next had new wheels installed and had a wheel alignment done. When the alignment was a little off, Tuan made sure I got immediate attention and rectified the matter the same day I called about it. My Acura now runs great and is even more fun to drive. I plan to come back to get some engine mods done sometime in the future. You're going to to get good service from Tuan and the folks at Fast Autoworks.

All i have to say is that Fast Autoworks is the best autoshop i have ever gone to. I live almost 70- miles away and i still go all the way over there just because they have the best customer service and use the best parts. I've been going over there for 5 years and that's never going to change. Thanks Tuan and the guys. Hope to see you soon but probably won't. (cause my car runs soo well)

I been going to Fast Autoworks for a few years now. Their mechanics take great pride in their work and cars and is more than willing to go the extra mile for even the smallest of things. In my honest opinion, Fast Autoworks puts their customer's satisfaction above all else. I brought my very first car in there for work; and will continue to do so till my last.
