Star Lincoln-Mercury Mazda

Scam artists. Thought I'd take my car in to the dealers for major maintenance because who would do it better than the dealer, right? Rrriight. Would have been better off doing NOTHING but a regular oil change. Same exact result, but without the $600 bill, the hassle, the wait, the unending spam mail and getting lied to repeatedly about the work "done" by a supposedly reputable dealer.
This scum will see not a penny from me ever again. 0 stars. Even the name is B.S... missing the 0 in front.

I used to take my car to the Mazda location in Culver City, which has sadly closed. I bought my Mazda at the Glendale location and have never felt like it is as good as the one in Culver City. I get my car serviced on Saturday mornings which is fine but they seem to be under-staffed and there was quite a bit of confusion around my simple servicing. I did find the cashiers to be helpful, informative, competent and good at following up to make sure that the confusion was sorted out and I wasn't over charged. I'm going back again since it wasn't terrible, but if there are more problems this time I'll see another service station.

PROS:
CONS: Glendale is a bit of a trek for mid-city dwellers.

I don't highly recommend Star Mazda. I went to them when I first bought my Miata, because I had coupons. However, I was not impressed with the service. The people who work there are fairly friendly, but it took forever for them to get to my car (andgenerally it was just an oil change). I had a difficult time getting someone on the phone, and when I did, they were often either uninformed or rude. I would recommend trying someplace else. It's not worth the unprofessionalism.
