A & G Auto

I've gone to A & G for a few years and have found them to be more than honest and competent. Other reviewers mention how Charlie (the owner) won't try to "run-up" the bill, and I agree with that. They can't do everything you might require--it's a smaller facility--and you may find an equal price and quicker turnaround for something basic like brakes at another establishment but all in all, this place is a real find.

Charlie and the gang at A&G Auto are very honest and helpful car mechanics. They won't charge for unneccesary repairs, and have shown me how to fix things on my own! They are great at basic repairs, but their scope is limited. They aren't able to deal with tires or alignments at their location, but have been helpful for all of the other auto problems I've had. Can schedule an appointment or just show up.

PROS: trustworthy, quick service
CONS: don't deal with all aspects of car repair (ie - tires, alignments)

Charlie is an incredibly fair, good, available, and interested mechanic. He never runs up bills. In fact, he is as likely to tell you something is just fine as he is to say something needs replacing. He's truly interested in the customer's satisfaction. I've been using him for 5 years.
