Raging Water is an amazing water park to go . Fun for kids and adults . The waterslides are excellent ! There were alot of thrillers rides . But there's also alot of negative things about this park too. Here are a list of Pros and Cons :

PROS :
-alot of waterslides
-bigger and more enjoyable than alot of water park out there.
-Many extreme rides
-good for family outings
CONS :
-Dirty...Lockers are rusty , restrooms are smelly and really gross , while lining up,you can see that there are gum stuck on trees and floor, there are also alot of trash around the park .
-The lines are long , a typical time in line on a weekend is about 1+ hour long for most slides .
-Food are expensive , 3 pieces of chicken tender and fries is about 8 dollars.

Hope this helps ! have fun ! (:

A good experience depending on the day. It's better to go early in the week when the summer camps haven't planned any trips. Went on a Thursday last week and the lines were absolutely RIDICULOUS because there were tons of summer camps there i.e. long lines (i.e. 30+ minutes for tickets, lockers, food (an hour wait!!!), bathrooms, and rides. everything is also expensive... parking $10 for regular, $15 for preferred, food i.e. cheese burger and small fries and NO drink... approx. $8.00. Dippin Dots Ice Cream $5.00, strawberry smoothie $8.55, Lockers between $10 and $15. Also went today i.e. a Monday (they had a special that wasn't advertised... buy a ticket and come back 3 days or more later for free.) Our experience was totally different today, we arrived at 9:40am, before the park opened (there were still quite a few people waiting for the park to open at that time, the park wasn't overly crowded and the lines were reasonable (didn't see 1 day camp group) and we went on most of the popular rides early on, stopped at Subway beforehand and filled the cooler with drinks that we left in the car. Ate under a tree in the parking lot at lunch time. However, the bathrooms were still pretty dirty and the lifeguards and staff (mostly teenagers) aren't the most attentive. In the wave pool, make sure kids who aren't super strong swimmers wear a life jacket. My daughter is almost 8 and can swim, however I did not trust the lifeguards to save her if she had a problem so she wore a life vest.

I can't believe all these yrs I missed out on water parks! I was afraid of the water not knowing how to swim. They provided life jackets for free. Adults dont really need to know how to swim to go on the deep side. The kids will need one. I had so much fun with my bff there on his 22nd b-day. Depending on the season and month, Raging Waters might be extremely crowded especially because they give all kinds of discounts at certain times. Is is important to go there EARLY! If you dont you will park far and have to wait for the tramp or bus. We wasted about an hr and a half waiting for the bus, changing, getting our lockers, and luckily we already got our tickets online. This water park is good for family fun and kids. It is a great place to be at if you dont like dealing with sand on the beach.

Pros: Fun slides/rides for all ages!
Provided a lot of shades for relaxation
Didnt experience any kind of 'bad' service

Cons: Lines are long! There is a line for everything.
If you go on the slides you have to pick up the floatie and line up for the ride again.
Some people try to cut.
Unhealthy food
Dirty restrooms

Tip: Leave early if you go on a busy day to beat the crowd! There was a SUPER long line for the bus and tramp. We decided to walk back to our car since it wasnt hot anymore and enjoyed the nice scenery.

It's very apparent that the management at Raging Waters is inept.

1) You pay $10 dollars to park on a dirt lot, which is so far away that you have to take a bus to the main park.

2) Staff are incompetent: it takes forever to purchase a ticket, obtain food, rent a locker, anything that requires logical thought, they can't do. (what do you expect from a place that pays lifeguards $7.50/hour).

3) Lines are too long and the lifeguards are too slow to let people go.

4) Who's there? California's future (and past) prison population. Too many degenerate thugs at the park. Management needs to raise prices by 100% to keep all the degenerate thugs away from the park.

5) Waited 30 minutes in line for chicken tenders. If management had a brain, they would figure out that time = money. The quicker people eat, the sooner they get hungry again.

6) The park is basically open only 3 months out of the year. Last time I checked, this was sunny and warm California, not Minnesota.

Other Water Parks cannot compare. Raging Water, San Dimas is the origional. Summer time & spring is time to float throught the calm waters of Amazon Adventure. Speed slides and Drop off are for the more adventurous water park people. Lounging in the wave pool is like a clean beach in Hawaii. Shops, lockers, food, fun, waterfall, waterslides, tanning, lounging, socializing, need I say more?

We had so much fun on the slides and the price is affordable. This is great for young and old to have a great day. The park has different kinds of season passes, which is nice, if you would like locker rental and to pay for parking in advance or you can choose to just have an unlimited season pass.

Raging Waters is well known in Southern California for its wide arrange of water rides. They have all kinds of rides ranging from relaxing tube rides in a slow moving stream, to the crazy near-vertical plunging drop slide.

Prices are decent, and you can usually find a coupon somewhere. Lines for rides may get long during crowded periods. They also have fakes beaches if you want to just relax.

Raging Waters is a great place to take the family for some hot day summer fun. They have a big selection of waterslides and rides to choose from, varying from kiddie to adult. It can get a little crowded on the really hot days, but that is to be expected of any popular amusement park. It's definitely geared more towards kids, but people of all ages can find something entertaining to do here. Definitely the best water park in the Southern California area. Very highly recommended.

PROS: great selection of rides and slides
CONS: can get crowded

I went to Raging Waters for the first time recently. I think it's a great place to take your family. It's not exactly a cheap date, but it's a good way to cool off and have some fun. The park was clean, the lifeguards seemed to pay close attention, and other employees were friendly and accessible for questions. Recommended!

This is one of the most fun water parks in the Southern California area. They have rides ranging from fun to scary, a few that are straight up and down, and some that are great for the whole family. As with most theme parks, there are high prices to enter the park, and to eat during your day. There's always a small price to pay! Open in the summer, the southern California area has never been cooler!

I have been to many, and this is surely one of the best water parks in the entire country. The facilities are constantly being updated and are well maintained. The park is huge with many different types of water of amusement for all ages. This place is a lot of fun, and discounted tickets are available for half days or special rates can also be recieved at a great deal for season passes. A great way to spend your summer.

I really enjoyed my time at raging waters. The park is a little of a drive but once you get their it's all worth it. We had a little trouble while in the park finding the rides we were trying to go on. the layout of the park is a little odd, but we made do and had a great time. Wear SUNSCREEN or you are going to get burned

As a child myself, I loved this place. I got lots of free passes through my mother's work and we had a blast. It is over twenty years old now, though and I think it needs a slight makeover, but can still be a fun place. That is, if security was better and therefore kept the troublesome kids out, then the kids who are just there to have good clean fun could enjoy it more. There are some kids who go there just there to cause problems and thus misery for others.

We live close by, so I buy annual passes for my kids. The weather is so hot in San Dimas, it's nice to go there just to "cool off". It's mostly for kids, although adults won't mind riding on the Amazon River (siting in an inner tube and floating along).

When i went here i had a blast! If you bring your closest friends or fmaily you'll have so much fun! The rides are exciting but i mostly like the rides where you are with someone. When you are alone its kind of dull since you are just by youself. With a group of people you want to be with will just be 10 times as fun! Its a really cool place.

My nieces and nephews love to go to this place. They had so much fun when we came here. This place is more for kids than adults but it's worth going to. The price to visit this water park isn't bad and it's definitely worth it. I recommend Raging Waters for kids.

I have never had a worse experience with anything that was supposed to be fun. The park is miniscule compared to any other water park I've ever been to, including one in Oklahoma, but they've expanded the parking lot 5 times larger than its initial appropriate capacity, so the place is packed even on a slow day. The parking attendants are also horrible because they allow pedestrians to walk in front of the cars waiting to park for up to ten minutes without letting a single car park, which is a pretty big deal when the line stretches onto the highway. Once we finally did park it took half an hour to get into the water park because it's so far away from the lots. Once we got to the lockers there was no sign or staff member around to tell you that you have to get the locker keys at a separate kiosk that is nowhere in sight of the actual lockers. The instructions in the lockers themselves make it clear that they used to have the key already in them, like at Six Flags, but there's no indication that those instructions aren't relevant anymore. We waited in line for a ride for ten minutes with no indication of the line moving any time soon. Then the vending machine ate our money and when we went to guest services to see if we could get the money back they wanted us to wait for a third party company person to get there and deal with us. By this time we had been at the park for a couple hours without even getting wet because we couldn't find the one ride we really wanted to go on because the map of the park doesn't look anything like the park and doesn't even have half the visible rides on it, or a "you are here" spot. And to top it all off, I dropped my school ID at the park and when I realized it after I left and tried to call the park and ask if they found it, it was literally impossible to get in contact with an actual person instead of an automated machine or answering machine.

Don't waste your time or money going to this park. There are at least a half dozen water parks in the southern California area. For the love of all that is holy, go to Hurricane Harbor, it's cheaper, bigger, better maintained, better organized, and has at least semi-decent customer service.

After 1.5 hours the kids and I still hadn't got wet. Main pools all closed for hygiene alert as we arrived. We then walked around and waited an hour to get onto Black Hole. The line didn't look that long...but no indication "30 mins wait from this point" etc. like a lot of parks. No information.

Turns out the ride was only operating one chute not two. No reasons given. All questions met with shrugs by staff. Interminable waits watched over by listless staff...seeming no communication between them...no sense of hussle and energy to get maximum no. of people through the rides and increase the fun.

We spent most of the day there....we got to ride 5 rides...let's say they last 30 seconds each....2.5 mins of "action"...

I though the guests were well behaved and tolerant considering the attitude of the management. This brand must suffer.

You're better off in the surf...

The first and best of the SoCal water parks. Even I, a hater of all things water and the rare breed of Californian who has somehow never gotten a tan, love this place. Lots of slides and pools and delicious funnel cakes. Treat yourself and devour treats yourself.

I mean this is rediculous. people say they should raise the price?? they dont know what they are talking about do you have a family of 5. thats already 150.00 just to get it. To tell you the truth yoou cant really trust these negative reviews they are useually just people venting. long lines??? yes of course just like any other park. you can see over 8000 people on the weekends so i say why are u complaining about lines. that is a given for a theme park and the price. some say its to much????? Have you gone to disney lately?????? thats 60 bucks A day. thats season pass pricing for raging waters. you just need to come mon-thurs to avoid long lines its simple common sense guys. Youll only be disapointed if you come looking to find something amiss in the park. O and no security??? Did you look at the gates and all the Cameras>> You cant just kick someone out cause you think they look like a "Ganster"... people have rights if thier no trouble they stay just like everyone lse who has the right tobe thier. All in all it seems people complain about Price Lines and the price welll i say you knew it all before you went so how can you mark down a place when you didnt do your hw thats on you not the park itself. anyway i beleave thousands would agree its a great place to have a good time. very family friendly.

Pros: great rides. great price for the park.

Cons: foods a bit pricy but still tastes great

I really didn't enjoy this place at all. First they make you park in the dirt and take you on this old bus and drive you to the park. The drive itself is dangerous as you have young unexperienced teenagers driving you over cliffs and curves on an old bus . The attractions are fun but somewhat old and dirty. And the water in the pool can turn quite cloudy for some reason. The workers were mainly rude and beware of getting water thown on your face if you are waiting for a ride. Its quite unexpected to have three gallons of water hit your face, not to mention painfull. It can get pretty crowded too. Mainly small kids and parents that live around that area I suppose. I thought they should increase the price and make some improvements throughtout the park. Im not sure if ill ever go again.

what a fun place...If you like water slides this is it. Raging Waters has the most outragious water slide, wave pools I've ever experienced. Very crowded on the weekend so I'd suggest going during the week. The year pass is a great deal if you have the weekday time.
