Groundlings

I have heard about this place from many people with alot of great comdedians being a product of this place. It was hilarious skits that they do and were all origianl. Nice and cozy spot to take a date or a group of friends.

CONS:

I have had many good times here. The reason I got hooked on The Groundlings is that my mom took me there before I was 18, you can get in there as long as you are with an adult. It is so awesome to be able to go to a fun place like that and laugh so much being underaged and legal. It totally reminds me of watch Who's Line is it Anyways. You throw out ideas to them and the off of the top of their heads work with it. Love it!

I have been a major fan of The Groundlings comedy troupe in Hollywood for years. This is an all improv group whose alumni read like a who's who of comedy, including Jon Lovitz, PeeWee Herman, Lorraine Newman, Lisa Kudrow, Cheri Oteri and on and on. They perform in a little theater on Melrose Avenue several times a week. Several times during the evening of prepared skits, suggestions from the audience are welcome and are used to make up sketches right before your eyes. A long precursor to WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY, the Groundlings have been brilliantly performing for many years. Even though there might be a clinker sketch now and then, most are pure gold and you never know what future star might be performing for you. A real treat.

SOOOO funny!! I first came to the Groundlings in college and loved it! The cast is hysterical and works well with each other. As always, any comedy has its crude and vulgar moments but if that doesn't bother you...Groundlings is a must stop on the comedy circuit.
