Ulta Salon and Cosmetics

while ulta is a little cheaper than a high end place, and little more then rudy's, you should not have to come in and get a hair cut fixed. or so i thought. recently i got a really bad haircut by a stylist at ulta. the woman was disingenuous about charges, she did not listen to what i wanted, and gave me a cut that did not look right for the texture of my hair, in addition she was really pushy and presumptuous about making future appointments. not cool.
but i came 2 days later for a correction, and had my terrible haircut completely fixed by tish. she is amazing, and super talented. not only was she really nice and professional, she totally understood what needed to be corrected. i have curly hair and she didn't try to push extra services like flat ironing etc... instead she cut it dry and wet to see how the hair looked the way i normally wear it. so if you want a high end cut but someone who is great at what they do ask for tish.

I came here once to get a haircut and absolutely adored the girl who did my hair. The next two times, I had gone has been a nightmare! The most recent trip entailed a girl who worked on 3 CUSTOMERS at one time. Needless to mention why I do not like my hair. Supposedly the manager was there but just stood around. I am disappointed in this store. My once dark hair is now a clump of redish and blonde chunky streaks. Hair is hair and it grows out but I WILL NEVER EVER HAVE MY HAIR DONE HERE AGAIN!

This chain store is good because it carries so many products. However, the employees vary greatly. Some are friendly and helpful. Others are clueless and lack customer service skills. The employees must not be trained well because they don't have a lot of product knowledge. If I know what I want, I'll go to Ulta to pick it up. If I have questions about products or need help from the sales associates, I go to Sephora instead.

I always have to make a few trips to this store every time I come back to LA. It has every single type of hair product and brand I can ever ask for, and occasionally, they have terrific sales on high-quality salon products (buy one get one free biolage products!!!). Most of the other times they have great sales on drug-store products. I just wish that they have more cosmetics brands.

I only shop at this store when I'm backed into a corner. They do have an amazing selection but the staff is so snooty. One of the women actually asked me if my daugher was my grandaugher......I'm 34! Unless you start looking in the "salon-quality" merchandise expect to be ignored! I had to break up an employee chat session to try and get some service. As I looked back one of the clerks actually was rolling her eyes at me. As far as I could tell she was still a retail girl and needed to loose her big ol' attitude.

i have visited this salon quite a few times to have hair removal procedures and i always enjoy their service. they are always very friendly and they take very good care of you. they have all the modern procedures available and they give you personalised service.i love their staff as they are very friendly and always there to answer all your answers.

This is a great one stop shop for all your beauty needs. I bought a curling iron there that I absolutely love. My friend was going to get the same brand with her salon discount and there was only a couple dollar difference. There are so many items offered there it is kind of mind boggling. They have hair products, cosmetics, and accesories and the selection is great. They also offer a card that accumulates rewards the more you spend.

This store is new, neat, and a fun enviornment to shop in for cosmetics, perfumes, hair products, styling equipment and more. They also have a styling bar where you can get anywhere from a hair cut, to highlights. Ulta also has a helpful staff. They are always running promotions on the produts they carry.

I love this store. They have so many types of makeup everyone can find something that they like. They have many shades and styles I can never decide which items are my favorites. It is a great cosmetic store that I wish we had one closer to where I live. It is always great to go here, the people in here are very knowledgeable about beauty products and are able to help you decide what cosmetics are best for you.

This store just opened up recently but it is one of my new favorites. They have everything you can imagine. They even have a salon. A friend of mine had her hair done there and they did a very good job and their prices seemed very reasonable. They have some great sales on different things each week and they carry a whole range of products. From the most expensive to the not so expensive. The people were very nice and helpful. The store is laid out nicely so that you can find whatever you need to find easily and it has always been very clean when I have been there.

This is the best place to for all your personal grooming needs. I got a cologne, shaving cream, toothbrush, massage pillow, energy bar, coffee machine and a haricut all in one place. The staff at this location is also very nice and helpful.
